The Bruins just wanted it more and the 4th line of Boston dominated. The Rangers looked slow just was way to late to every puck. It looked like the Bruins had 20 guys on the ice.

Our forwards are too small with the exception of Nash(who doesn't hit), Boyle and Pyatt. Zuccarello and Hagelin God love them are trying but they are getting blocked by a bigger hockey team. We miss Clowe and Staal big time here, and if there's one huge glaring problem with the coaching staff it's that they can't get a decent powerplay going, it might have cost us a Cup last year and a longer run this year. Our D are tired again, and our forwards can't score.

Lundqvist ****ed up royally on the Bruins first goal by not handling the puck well on about three occasions and the second appeared to go off of a Rangers stick. Really blew that game last night.

They still haven't scored enough.

You can't win many games with 1 goal and the play in your end for most of the game. I thought Lundqvist gave us a ton of chances to win that game stopping two breakaways in a row to keep us ahead by 1. We needed our PP to come through for us and it didn't. I look at the dump in that Stepan did and nobody else went in with him on the PP, this group of forwards minus Hagelin, Stepan, Zuccarello, and Boyle have given up IMO.

I'm not saying they have scored enough. Just sucks to see Lundqvist mishandle the puck three times and then give up a goal that ties it up.

This happened last against the devils, the big lines killed them on the forecheck

The team was also inconsistent in years prior before last year when they were together for a while. Boston is deep but they also play well because of the time they spent together. This years team has talent for sure but from watching them its obvious that they need more time playing together.

Next year things should improve with a full camp and a full season to gel. The one things thats for sure is that they have they talent and with Staal back and Moore looking like a real find they should be much more formidable.

A little more size and grit wouldn't hurt. They were getting pushed around quite a bit.

The biggest reason for that is that our top 4 play 25-30 minutes a night, they are tired and make mental mistakes when fatigued.

With the Rangers in the playoffs, it always comes down to the same thing…the get pushed around and roughed up by bigger, tougher, hunrgier teams. The Rangers don't get eliminated as much as they seem to just get pushed out.

No one is afraid of the Rangers. They know they can wear this team down. It's almost always been that way. They need bigger players that can push people off the puck.

I don't think that's entirely true, we lead the league in fights last year, had a big team with Scott,Rupp, Prust, Bickel, Boyle, and Dubinsky who all played physical and fought. Where our problem lies is in creativity and goal scoring in general but more specifically on the PP.

and the Devils pushed them all over the ice. Physically, they hardly were superior to Ottawa in the playoffs either.
