Does Seattle get an NBA team or does the Oklahoma City Thunder win an NBA championship?

Seattle gets a new team first (unless Howard signs with OKC this upcoming off season).

KD will be gone when his contract is up, if he doesn't get a ring before then (Lakers, Knicks or HEAT).

If you fail to keep your team in your city you don't deserve a new one quickly....No offense to Super Sonic fans but IMO when you lose a team it should be decades before you get rewarded with a new team.

KD won't get a ring as long as Lebron James is in the league, unless he forms a super duper team like Chris Paul/Jesus/Durant/Dirk/Howard.

All he would need is Jesus because he always shoots 100%

As crazy as it sounds, the odds are probably in the favor of Seattle getting a team first. It's extremely difficult to win an NBA championship, and while the Thunder are arguably the best team in the West when healthy, they still have to go through an incredibly difficult conference and then face the Heat every year. Also, consider all the cap struggles the Thunder have had and will have to face, and I still think they're at least one solid player away from winning it all unless Ibaka makes significant strides in the next few years.

Meanwhile, there are a ton of underperforming small market teams in the NBA and Seattle has gotten damn close to getting the Kings. If it isn't the Kings, it could be the Bobcats or another poor small market team. As much effort as that city is putting into bringing back an NBA team, I'd be surprised if they didn't have one in five years.

I don't think OKC wins a title any time soon.

Neither will probably happen in the next 5 years.

If Sam Presti would wake up and do his job, OKC could win a championship, even if they had to play the Heat. We're not built to do it right now, but if our little GM would just admit that it's time to add firepower, we'd be able to beat those guys, and the NBA would finally have a legit new rivalry. It's a shame we're gonna miss out on winning the big one because the guys in charge don't wanna spend money.

OKC isn't gonna win a title til LeBron retires or injures himself and can't play in the playoffs.

Seattle isn't gonna get a team until another team has stadium issues or owner decides to sell the team. Right now, the league is perfectly even with 15 teams in the East and 15 teams in the West to make an even 30 so I can't imagine the league breaking that to create a new expansion team.
