I'm sure he looks great. There's never been any doubt about his ability to play basketball. The knees on the other hand..

I would love to see Oden come back for another 6-7 years as a strong healthy center in this league.

Big who get leg injuries repeatedly historically don't stay healthy.

I would love for him to be healthy and be a great player but I don't think he will.

Yao, Oden, Bynum.

3 of the recent big name centers whose legs failed them

One thing I don't understand is why don't all these injury prone players go to Phoenix for a season or 2? Even if the team sucks, like it currently does, they get to work with the best medical staff in the NBA and build up their value. Look at what we did for Amare, you're welcome Knicks. Shaq? Hill? Nash? JO?

I'll believe it when I see it.

This sums up how i feel about the Oden situation as well.

If by unbelievable he means 75, then I concur.

as a prospect he was an absolute specimen with a great feel for the game. if hes got himself in shape i think he'll get another shot. coaches will prolly be afraid to play him more than 10 min....im half expecting an article in 2 wks that oden did something to his leg and is on a 12 month recovery time table.

The only picture of Greg Oden that means anything is an MRI of his knees.

Come to Miami big guy, if you can't make a return at least you gave it a go. If you can though, can you imagine Miami with Oden. If he could play 20-25 minutes a game, suddenly were not so small

No matter what Oden has done, his return to the NBA will come down to two factors:

- Does a team need a big man enough to take a risk on Oden?
- Will Oden accept the the amount of compensation offered to him knowing that it will be discounted based on his injury history?

i'm rooting for this guy so hard. it'd be awesome to see him fulfill some of that huge potential.

Come to LA and replace Dwight when he leaves.

Come to LA and replace Dwight when he leaves.

That's actually not a bad idea hahahaha. Let Oden play 20-25 min and Hill can take the rest.

He has always looked great on the court ....until he gets injured in the second quarter of his first game back.

Someone should give him a minimum deal and a chance to prove he can stay healthy. Low risk high reward

His comeback will be successful if he signs with PHX.

Having bad knees almost guarantee a difficult career.

I just hope for him that he will be more likely Bynum than Roy.

I don't think it can be a comeback if he never arrived in the first place.
I'm all for it, but it's awfully unlikely for him to become what everyone thought he would be.

This! Something is not genetically right with him and that's why he's so injury prone.

I hope this man gets healthy cause the league needs more legit centers! Best of luck Oden.

He better start working on those 16 or 17 championships he wanted. As idefend10 said, the league does need centers

Sure he looks great, his incredible talent was never in doubt... but how many games until his knees give out.

He has to still have some money right? So the question remains, why is he wearing those jeans?

In all seriousness, I wish him the best.

I love his skills, but his knees. He could have dominated the post if only his knees didn't gave up.
