He is a championship caliber point guard. If he were still healthy okc might have won the championship this year.

i don't buy it. despite what his detractors say over and over, he's certainly a quality championship caliber pg.

Yeah, and he was a big reason they lost that NBA finals.

right everyone else on OKC played lights out to go down 5. Harden was pretty brutal himself...

not many stars win their time in ship. Lebron got swept with the Cavs and lost in 5 to Dallas before he won his.

Meh, he was the only reason why the Thunder even had a chance of winning in game 4. His game 5 shooting numbers look bad because of having to throw up shots when they were down by 20 for a good amount of the game. He also kept them in game 3 IIRC. James Harden was pretty bad though, but things like that usually happen to young players in that type of stage.

Westbrook is underrated. People knock him because of his PG skills, but he is a beast in every other aspect of the game.

If Westbrook is so bad on PG, then how come his team went to the Finals last season? How come they have been consistently winning 50+ games per season? Something must be working over there in OKC with him at PG.

Westbrook is a Top 10 NBA player and a top 3 NBA guard.

Current Mike Bibby would be better at the defensive rotations than Westbrook. Look at how easily he loses sight of Jackson early on, and then runs the COMPLETE opposite way of Parker who hits the game winner. Not to mention his poor decisions on offense

Lets not even put those two in the same sentence. I can guarantee that if Westbrook was in roses place he would have been back already. Westbrook is one of the games fiercest competitors there's no way he sits on the bench if he can play. People forget that Westbrook has been getting better at the pg position every year. They don't acknowledge that that's not his natural position. It takes a while to adapt to the PG position especially if you've been a SG most of your basketball playing life.
