God I hate the Bulls and especially Noah and Nate. It would be such a pleasure seeing them whooped by us. I hope it would be an entertaining sweep, although I see this series possibly going 6 depending on the Bulls health and how Wade performs. Bosh & Bridman are huge for this series for obvious reasons (whoever knows the type of game tha Bulls play).
It's not going to be easy, they are a tough team, but if we show up the way we have for this entire 2nd half of the season I say HEAT in 5.
LETS GO HEAT!!!!! :burn:

With the best team money can buy, the Heat win this series. It's gonna' happen. LeBron is going to have his way, and when he doesn't he'll cry like a little *****, we all know this. No way David Stearn let's anybody but the Heat win the title.

The Bulls will win one, maybe two but it's just a formality

Playoff basketball is a lot different that regular season in that in the regular season, things tend to balance out: good teams show they are good and bad teams always regress. In the playoffs, the sample is too little, every team can win and who the hell cares how good you are when your kicked out. Point being, even if the bulls got lucky or whatever, they are still up 1-0 and need one win less than us to move on

You can win one by catching your opponent off guard or out-hustling them or even being more "lucky" than they were. But winning 4 out of 7 requires more than that. Winning 4 out of 7 means--most, though not all of the time--being the better team and making the best adjustments.

Reasons for this loss:

1. Rustiness from that week off.
2. When was the last time Wade took a three before that one which basically ended this game for us?
3. Chicago is a awesome unit. Not much talent there but so much heart, hustle, and sweat.Thibs is like orgasm.
4. You can't tell if Bosh is out there when his jumper is off. I swear I have never seen such a heartless STAR. He doesn't know how to affect the game besides his mid-range jump shot.
5. And finally, Spo should thank LeBron forever because LeBron makes him look good most of time. Spo is riding LeBron's coattails. He'll go as far as LeBron takes him. Dude looks clueless at time out there. It doesn't matter what happens in the actual game, he'll stick to his ****ing rotation no matter how nicely someone like Wade starts to get in rhythm.

Slug3
05-06-2013, 10:12 PM
Bulls outplayed us tonight, they were the better team.

I am not trying to say that, I am trying to say Miami as a team comes out to games like they are just going to show up and thats enough to win.

Khri

If Chalmers and Bosh continue to suck I don't see us doing any better against the Bulls.

MTL_123

DQL
05-06-2013, 10:13 PM
too much rest I guess. looked like they were still sleepy. Chalmers couldn't hit everything and got raped by Robinson all game. Bosh has been like this since the all-star break. I don't know who has stolen his soul. And for some reason Wade still believes he can hit 3's. It's going to be painful few years left of his career the way he constantly misses games to injuries.

Still plenty of games left for adjustments. This could be a good wakeup call (funny I said this when we lost to this exact team last time).

Cano4prez
05-06-2013, 10:18 PM
Cole should take some of Chalmers minutes he was playing good d on Nate

kjoke
05-06-2013, 10:21 PM

So next game we can't make a three, the next games our fts suck, and the final game they are just on fire. All of these are possibilities that pretty much could happen, and we lose the series. Doesn't mean we aren't a better team, just means in this sample size, we just went through a rough spell.

Point being, wasted game

Some Heat fans are acting bitter and cocky in the NBA forum instead of just accepting the loss. SMH...

Cole should take some of Chalmers minutes he was playing good d on Nate

I totally agree. Mario can't follow his own shadow. Cole is leaps and bounds better than Chalmers when it comes to defense and Cole's much improved offensively.

Hey, thanks for letting us know it's not gonna be a sweep since we are too dumb to realize it can't be a sweep after game 1 loss

You guys played great and deserved to win but stay classy and celebrate your win in your own forum instead of trying to make it worse for us here our forum. Thanks.

So next game we can't make a three, the next games our fts suck, and the final game they are just on fire. All of these are possibilities that pretty much could happen, and we lose the series. Doesn't mean we aren't a better team, just means in this sample size, we just went through a rough spell.

Point being, wasted game

I'm not speaking from a fringe standpoint of possibilities, but one of probabilities.

Yes, if we go through a four-game stretch of cataclysms and locusts plagues and hell's worst furies . . . well then yes, we will be that ultra-rare exception to the rule that the most talented/best team almost always wins a best-of-seven game series.

Can we go through a four-game stretch in which "we can't make a three, the next games our fts suck, and the final game they are just on fire"? Yes, I suppose it's possible. Now, is that likely to happen? No.

That's my point. Typically nearly everything has to break right for the under-talented team to beat the favorite. If that happens, tough luck and congrats to the Bulls. But I wouldn't put my money on it.

I understand that all of those happening are small, but one of the did already happen, and its only has to happen one less time. Just frustrating that we should have won this game.

It is incredibly frustrating. Especially the way we failed to execute late. This sure feels like a "wasted" game. But if there's one silver lining, it's that at least we didn't look completely outclassed like we did the first game of the 2011 ECF series against them. If ever there was a time to panic, that was it.

This team needed some adversity, now we get to see what they are made of

:pity: Agreed

im a casual bulls fan (spend most my fandom energy in football and baseball) but this was a game that the heat could afford to lose. i expect a very strong and fairly dominant performance in the next game. lebron is going to play extremely well and show jimmy butler what guarding a motivated lebron is like. i am just hoping this will continue to be an entertaining series. hopefully goes seven, but i am not expecting it to. thibs is doing a fantastic job with what he has though. spolestra doesnt appear to be a fairly good coach not really making many adjustments. anywho ill leave ya guys be, not sure if u cared for my two cents after a loss, but there it is lol best of luck with the rest of the series, hope its a memorable one

You guys need to accept the fact that the Bulls will play the Heat VERY hard, every time. Noah brings it every time, that ***** Boozer even plays like he has balls when he goes up against Bosh. The series will go to 6, possibly 7. I'll just be happy if the Heat advance and are all healthy - the Bulls play very physically and I just want this series over ASAP in Miami'a favor

It ain't gonna be a walk in the park, that's for sure

I'm glad to see people giving the Bulls credit for their win. I know it's just one win, and 90 percent chance the Heat still win this series, in fact, It wouldn't shock me at all if the Heat took the next 4 games and advance in 5, but you gotta understand how proud of the Bulls we are right now. Most admirable team in professional sports.

Essentially, give Tom Thibodeau 8 half-way healthy players and he'll find a way to make them compete. So proud.

I get so tired of listening to Bosh talk after we lose. He has no heart and doesn't deserve to even be anywhere near a team with championship goals. He deserves to rot on the worse team in the league and enjoy it cause he doesn't care to play with any passion.

The Heat lost because they were rusty and overconfident, but since they're no longer either of those - it should be all good...right? My concern would be these divas feeling too much shame for their loss, trying to "make a statement" in Game 2, putting on some big show for the Miami Heat fans. Wrong move IMO. All I want to see is a professional, serious, handle-your-business Miami Heat team, but I'm afraid our divas might have spent a week reading their own press clippings before Game 1. If so, they might desire to create AMAZING press clippings to go with a tremendous Game 2 victory. If this group wasn't so mentally fragile, I might see that as a good thing, but these divas have proven enough times how much they get distracted by the media, the fans, Twitter and crap like that, DURING the postseason. If they let that distraction in the door, as they face an increasingly tough, confident Bulls team...yikes.

Agreed 100%. I saw this coming all along, the road to the championship this time looks a lot harder now than last year's. Even if they get out of the East they will probably have to face either the Spurs or the Grizz which seem tougher than OKC.

I got tired of saying it, but here goes again, Bosh is honestly a waste. That being said, Wade had a poor game. Judging from past statistical performances against the Bulls (and what he did in 4 games against them this year), I expect D-Wade to bounce back. Actually, outside of turns and poor free-throw shooting, D-Wade was freaking sensational against the Bulls in 2013 (check his per48 min averages):

3-pt% {0.3-0.3 = 1.000}; FG% {9.7-17.0 = .569}; FT% {6.7-10.7 = .625}; 5.0 Asts; 3.3 Blks; 3.0 PFs; 26.3 Pts; 7.3 Rebs; 1.7 Stls; 4.3 TOVs

This Bulls team has two guys in particular that I really like (and that Thibbs is smart enough to realize he needs to play them heavy mins), Butler and Noah. Outside of that, it's somewhat of crap shoot. Boozer's obviously on the decline, Deng is overrated, Hamilton is done (and I don't just mean due to injury), Hinrich and Robinson are a mixed bag (of marbles), Taj Gibson hasn't really been Taj (this year), the list goes on. Realistically, the HEAT should win this series handily, but I'll give the Bulls two edges. Depth up front (to body up and generate extra possessions) and a better coach.

Yep! Like yesterday Bulls - 29ft's, Heat - 25... The NBA is a conspiracy!

On a serious note, we just played bad, stupid shot selection, missing WIDE open shots, Allen defending Nate at the end. It was just a bad game all-around.

I have been bagging on Bosh for 2 years now so I am sure everyone knows I pretty much dont like him. As for Wade, I didnt know what to expect from him as he had a lot of time off. but at one point he was getting really hot and Spo decided to pull him. I hate when he does this so much. Its like the other team doesnt even need to call a timeout cause Spo is going to change the momentum for them.
