View Full Version : Who you got for round two?

Here are the match-up. The teams with home court are on the left:

Miami vs. Chicago
NY vs. Indy
OKC vs. Memphis
SA vs. GSW

I got Miami, Indy, Memphis and SA.

Miami for obvious reasons. The Bulls simply aren't at full strength and even when at full strength two seasons ago were unable to beat the Heat.

I'll take Indy over NY. I love Vogel and Woodson, but I think Paul George is just going to elevate his game and I think NY will struggle with depth and injuries. This is a close series though.

I'm going with Memphis primarily because the Thunder are playing without Westbrook. When your primary ball-handler and second leading scorer goes down, it hurts. Had they been playing without him for a long stretch, I think they'd have a better chance, but they are making adjustments on the fly now.

And the Spurs. Jackson may have out-coached Karl in the first round, but that will not happen against Pop. Also, the Warriors likely won't have Lee at full health and being without your best rebounder and second leading scorer and only All-Star is a big hit for a team. The Spurs have the vets, and the coaching to take this series.

Who you got?

Heat (unless Rose returns)

Knicks (they are nearly at full strength with Amar'e returning for game three)

Spurs (they will do to the warriors what they did to the run and gun Suns)

Memphis (even if okc was healthy i think Memphis could win this series)

Sure hope Rose returns. If so would love to see us upset Miami and play NYK in the Conference finals.

I hope rose returns so we still wipe the floor with the bulls like we did 2 years ago when he was fully healthy and so the bulls fans who are saying they'd win if rose comes back then say it was cause he hasn't adjusted back with enough time yet as their excuse for losing.

I think Miami will be just too much for a Bulls team without Rose. They will compete but I see them losing in 6

I took NY here because I think Boston was the 3rd best team in the east aside from records. In the playoffs they are battle tested and we got a bit cocky. It was one of those games that taught NY not to underestimate and to be a bit more humble. It'll be a tough series but I have NY in 6

I got OKC here because I think even without Westbrook, Durant is gonna just be way too much for Prince and Tony Allen to stop.

Went with Spurs here because like the Celtics they are battle tested and the Warriors aren't. The Warriors have showed they are a great young team but they lack experience and that's where the Spurs have the edge

Indy is still riding off that series win vs Orlando with no Dwight (worst team in NBA this year) and beating Miami twice without Bosh. They wont be able to score any better than Boston could. Knicks in 5.

Miami even if Rose returns. (4-1)

Knicks will come out firing and won't lose their focus if they get the series lead. (4-3)

Grizzlies because they'll dominate the paint, and will bother the hell out of Durant. (4-2)

Spurs are better-coached, more experienced and will come out with a game-plan to limit Curry. (4-1)

Heat 6 wouldn't be surprised if it went 7
Pacers 6
Memphis 6
GSW 7 if Lee is really healthy could be less, Bogut seems to really be coming into his own and that just gives them too many weapons with a good defensive center

Surprised you chose to comment on that pick over the Bulls over Heat in 6 which seems to be a lot more ludicrous of the two.

OHHHHHHH nevermind your a KNICKS FAN so of course you would think that and btw Knicks in 6 games?....

I think Memphis is the most dangerous team for Miami.

I think your Spurs are as well by pure coaching alone.
