I think players should keep tampons on them, tuck them away somewhere, so when something like that happens, Asik can pull 2 of them out and just throw them at those two.

they should make it an olympic discipline.

hope they both get fined.
asik was already slowing down, nearly stopped when they made contact. no way was there enough force to knock them both down, especially how far they "fell".

lol seriously I don't understand the league some teams get physical and can touch grab other players all game then you have something like this where they were in position to take a charge and Asik smartly slowed down and damn sure didn't make enough contact to not only make one person fly but let alone two? gay league needs to come down hard on these two for that bs

I'll never understand how the league continually let's Fisher get away with this. His flopping single-handedly kept OKC in the 4th Q of game 5.

Fisher got more of the hit, but Martin?? He just fell back!

haha, didn't see that last night. Doesn't really surprise me. I guarantee nothing happen to either of them.

They were taking a charge. I see a big difference between taking a charge and flopping.

The entire purpose of taking a charge is to get knocked down. That's what taking a charge is. If you lean in and push back, then you are committing the foul. You stand straight up and block the path to the basket and let the guy knock into you.

A flop is where there is barely any contact and you go flailing off to the side or fall over when there was barely any contact. Asik ran into these guys. It is a charge. No flopping.

Can't Hack-a-Turk, and the two best floppers in the league had synchronized their cycles... too funny.

Just goes to show Houston knows how to beat the Thunder and throw them off their game.

What the NBA should do is suspend a player for a whole season/playoffs without pay if they flop. If that is too "extreme" they should fine them by the millions instead of thousands and suspend them with pay.

Asik is a big boy and all but he wasn't going fast enough to take both of them out at the same damn time..

LOL. Fisher loves to flop. Kevin Martin is funny, he barely got hit.

Uhh... Watch it again. He totally stopped, and there's very little contact in general. Both players flopped hard. They probably both will get fines.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Maybe we should throw people in prison for Jay walking too. The change to a fine has already made a huge impact on the league this year.

He shot them with a 12 gauge, buckshot round apparently.

I don't think it's considered flopping if you help sell the contact... flopping is where you try to trick the official.. There was contact, they just sold it

What you described is the definition of FLOPPING.

Watch the video over and over. Asik stops on the pass and maybe "touches" them, he doesn't he contact them hard enough for them to fly 20 feet like they did. Complete flop.

I've never seen a charge called where the defender didn't fall. If they just squared up and took the hit, it would have been a foul on one of them.

I've seen offensive players literally ram straight into defenders and get to the FT line because the defender decided to take the blow and keep standing with their hands up instead of falling down.

Exactly. I've NEVER seen a side by side flop like that, knew people would get a laugh. Some people can't just take things for what they are.
