View Full Version : Do you think D-Wades knee is a bone bruise or is it not right from the surgery he had

Just seems weird to me how long its taking Wade to get over his knee. I really don't remember the moment in which the bone bruise happened. I think the Heat will win the ring this year with 40% wade but it would be nice to have him at 90% so we can really watch this team get down. Wade had that stretch after the all star break where he was looking really good. Now hes back to week 1 form. Wassup with this?

Well since no one else wants to answer. I think his knee might be worse then they are leading on to be. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses more games and even big games where he is needed. But honestly the Heat didn't need Wade against the Bucks so maybe they really just wanted to get him more rest.

Melo had a bone bruise earlier in the year and we all know how that effected him. I wouldnt be surprised if that were the case here.

wade had surgery on his left knee during the offseason. the time table for a full recovery from that was until around the all star break. then like you said he looked really good and was playing well since he was healthy, but then he banged his other knee (right). then be banged it a couple more times. he has 3 bone bruises around the knee cap, spo insists structurally his knee is as good as it's been in years. but the bruises take time and every time he bangs it, it sets him back. he could of played in game 4, but lebron told him that they got this and just to rest since they have time before round 2 when they'll really need him.

that's about it really, hopefully this nice week plus stretch in between games will help him somewhat going into the 2nd round.

Only natural since those guys keep wishing for injuries so much.

Good looking out. I got the answers so much faster in this forum. Also got to see the usual suspects post some "waste of time" comments.

here's an article that pretty much sums it up if you really want to read about it. it was written before game 4 though...

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/miamiheat/post/_/id/17470/heat-need-to-sit-wade-so-he-can-resti

after game 4 it has been said that wade could of played but was advised against it by the coaching staff and his teammates since they knew they didn't need him to close out the bucks, and they wanted his rest for round 2 to start asap...
