View Full Version : The Thunder literally don't have a PG

Ok Fisher may be listed as a PG. But without Westbrook there is literally nobody to run the offense. Nobody who sets people up.

Kevin Durant is a scorer. He's not a facilitator. We don't call him the best scorer in the league for no reason.

This team just doesn't have PG.

They never really had a PG.

True, but at least they had a ball handler and someone who set others up. They don't anymore.

Durant is an improving facilitator and had some nice passing tonight, but they can just double him without Westbrook. I will tell you one thing, anyone who said K-Mart and Harden was a wash in what they brought to the Thunder was crazy. He has been terrible and remains one dimensional.

Sounds like a better version of the Lakers.

Although the Lakers didn't have a PG to create for others either in Fisher and still won multiple championships.

 When Westbrook was playing people was saying the same thing.

The lack of a PG is not the problem with this team without Westbrook. Durant can fill that role just fine.

Tough luck. Injuries suck. Ask Lakers, Celtics, Nuggets, and Bulls fans about it.

If Delonte cheats on LeBron's mom with Durant's mom, do you think LeBron would get upset that he cheated on his momma?

They never really had a PG.

westbrook is a PG dude. just because he's not john stockton doesn't mean he's not a PG.

the archaic definition of what a PG is needs to be dropped by a lot of people. the value of a "true PG" is vastly overrated. a team full of playmakers and willing passers is all that matters. you don't need that defined pass-first guy.

that offense looked so stagnant last night. they'll miss him more than some are willing to admit. they got one playmaker now, and that's an issue.

If you don't think Durant is a facilitator, then you haven't been watching him play this season. This was true in the past, but Durant made great strides in his play making ability this season. His assists went up an entire assist this season and his turnovers went down.

Also, Reggie Jackson and Fisher are both on the playoff roster, meaning they actually have two PGs.

So "literally" they have two point guards on the team. That said, I really do hate when people use the term "literally" when it is not actually applicable. It figuratively and metaphorically drives me insane.
