Now that Kobe is out for the year, I thought it would be interesting to rank who you would like to take your last second shot of all the players left in the playoffs.

In no order, here are some names.

LeBron
Wade
Melo
Pierce
Durant
Paul
Manu
Curry

I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. Let's see your list.

No Ray Allen?

When LBJ has the ball and drives in, do you double him? He could pass the ball out to a D-wade cutting from the other side. Or lob it to an open Chris Bosh for the dunk. Then there's Ray Allen waiting to drop the dagger. Either that or he could simply truck it to the rim.

So while there's probably better shots out there, I'd probably put the ball in Lebron's hands the last few seconds of the game. and this is coming from a Knick fan.

Kobe was never at the top of my list for last possession shots.

Melo
Bron
Paul
Durant

can't go wrong with any of them.

What's wrong with Joe Johnson? Arbitrary criteria, but this should give you an idea: In 2012-13, in the regular season, in the 4th quarter or overtime, 0:30 or less left in quarter, shot to tie or take lead, requiring Field Goals >= 5, sorted by descending Field Goals.

Joe Johnson 8/9 FG - 88.9%
LeBron James 5/13 FG - 38.5%
Rudy Gay 5/13 FG - 38.5%

Pierce
Durant

These 3 guys can score from anywhere in anyway.

That's all well and good. I just don't see how you can trust him with the last possession like you could the Melo's and Durant's of the world.

No order:

Melo
LeBron
Durant
Johnson
Curry
Paul

If I had to pick one it would either be Melo or Durant, not sure.

****, I forgot about Pierce. You could even put Manu in these talks. Tough to choose one.

In no order, just considering someone who handles the ball in last possesion, not exactly shoot it.
Pierce
Bron
Melo
Durant

But I'm really shaking when Pierce shoots the last shot against Miami.

I'm going to go with just taking the last shot, because of 'handling the ball' you can also throw like 100 PGs in there. I will keep mine to cold blooded assassins for the last shot, in no real order because I'll take any of them for my money.

Melo
KD
Dirk
Parker
Pierce
LeBron/Wade

not trolling... Prigioni is insanely clutch. I doubt he'll see the floor much though, but I'd trust him more than everyone barring Melo with the last shot.

so we're assuming that the Kobe was the "Last Shot Master" before he got injured? I don't think so. Check the stats.

Of course. Joe Johnson is the most clutch player in the leagues and a vet.

I get the feeling whenever Pablo spots up and takes the 3, that ***** is going down nearly every time. Such a smart player you just get the sense if he shoots it, he knows he's gonna drill it. I don't think he will ever get PT in a game winning situation because you KNOW: Felton, Kidd, Smith, Melo are going to be out there. KMart or Tyson is really the only position that might change on a nightly basis.
