IMO and this might be a homer pick but I think Steve Nash is still the best. Sure he's been hurt a lot this season but he's still the greatest 3pt shooter at the PG position even today.

1. Steve Nash
2. Stephen Curry
3. Deron Williams (very underrated shooter, when he's on fire its ridiculously scary)
4. Jose Calderon
5. Jason Kidd

Jason Kidd? Ehh...

You wouldn't put Kyrie in there?

I think I'd put Kyrie and Lillard in for Kidd and Calderon. But that's my opinion.

Eh their too young imo.

Neither have had a season in which they have shot at least 40% from 3. Of course, like I said, both are incredibly young so they will likely get there in no time.

I agree with you though that the Kidd selection is a little iffy but he's really turned himself into a great shooter after struggling mightily with it at first.

Kyrie is a better shooter than JKidd will ever be.

Stephen Curry just finished the season with the most 3s ever made in a year and he did it at a percentage that Nash hasnt sniffed since 2008. There really is no argument for Nash being the better shooter at this point.

Id go:

Curry
Calderon
Nash
Blake
Williams/Chalmers/Kyrie toss up for 5th

JASON KIDD, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Don't people know that in Jersey people called him Ason Kidd?

The answer is Steph Curry, and well Steph Curry. Oh don't forget Steph Curry.

Kidd???? lol. Aside from the stand-still 3, he is not a shooter by any means. He can't make contested shots, or the midrange consistently.

Why are people putting Blake on this list?

Not only that, he's not great at shooting off screens, he doesn't have a quick release, he isn't good at shooting off the dribble either.

As a lifelong Nets fan, I know that the one thing that Kidd is really bad at is shooting.

Why are people putting Blake on this list?

39% from 3 for his career, 42% on the year. He is a good shooter, if nothing else.

4th among PGs in 3PT%. he's attempting 3.8 a game too so it's not like he's just taking the occasional open shot either. after the top 3 it's a tossup though. i can see arguments for irving, foye and a few others.

Paul's a 35% 3pt shooter who shot 32.8 this season, so he's a no go despite being an elite FT shooter. Kyrie's right there at 39% from 3 and 86% from the stripe.

Ultimately it's Curry then the rest. @ the OP, Curry's average 3pt% in his 4 years would be the third highest in Nash's 17 year career; and he made around the same amount of 3's in this season alone than Nash has in the last 4 years combined. Considering they're both 90% foul shooters, Curry's got the significant edge.

I'd throw Calderon in there right around Curry and ahead of Nash. If he did it on a higher volume he'd have the best case for #1.

Right now it's absolutely Curry. Nash is the GOAT shooting PG though. Crazy how he only shot three times below 40% in his 17 year career and twice out of those three it was very very close to 40%,

Curry by far and it's not even close. That kid can hit a jumper in multiple ways. Transition three, stop and pop so on and so forth.

I'd say Mark Price is the GOAT shooting PG ;)

His % might not be the best out there but it was all about the style.

Dana Barros was amazing as well. Plus Steve Kerr.

Uh, they should just title this thread Curry is the best PG shooter in the NBA.

What's the point? For all the Warrior fans, who are so excited to reach the playoffs, please keep in mind, the playoffs are about inside out. Not the other way around. That's why you'll get bounced in the first round.

Nash is a pass first PG, and Nash has attempted far fewer 3s than Curry has.

This season alone, Curry attempted 600 3 pointers. Nash has never even come close to attempting that many 3s. The highest he's ever attempted in a season is even below 400.

Which gives you another argument against nash.Curry is making way more 3's with a better %.
