I don't know who of you saw it but it definitely looked bad. Possibly an ACL tear. He was clearly in a lot of pain and they had to roll him out on a stretcher... in slow mo you can really see his knee **** up.

I was really looking to seeing what Denver could do in the playoffs. They can still do ok, because there a deep team. But losing gallo, especially in that offense, is huge.

I love Gallo. He's one of my top 3 favorite players in the league. This is a damn shame. Terrible for Gallo and terrible for the Nugs. Here's to hoping for a quick recovery

hopefully it's just strained or something. it didn't looked good though.

seriously, iman shumpert, derrick rose, john wall and now gallo all out with injuries wearing adidas?

it's just crazy how on at least the three other than john wall they were just dribbling it's not a contact play and it's not the result of anything other than a freak accident. i love the nuggets, i live just outside of the city and this team has been a marvel to behold and anyone who says their season is done can stfu, this team's depth is about to show. Ya'll got no idea the heart and soul of this team and how hard these boys work every damn night. If you are a fan of a small market team then you better be a fan of what the nuggets have done. I mean they are on track for a 56 win season and that is just nuts. Your team is next, the coolest thing about the nuggets is Ty goes down, boom Fournier swoops in out of nowhere and has back to back great nights. McGee or Koufus goes down? Mozgov and Randolph there no problem. Gallo goes down? Not even gonna phase the nuggets, start Wilson Chandler and back him up with Corey Brewer, Iguadala and Jordan Hamilton. The nuggets are a beast and they are beating your teams without their best player Ty. Like I said if you are a fan of a small market team then be thrilled because there isn't a GM in the league who isn't marveling over what Masai Ujiri has done out of basically nothing. There isn't a team in the nba that can't do what the nuggets do and this team can be built 50 different ways and still be just as succesful.

Gallo get well soon my man! You are as a unique a talent as there is in the nba and he has for stretches looked like a 6' 10" Manu Ginobili, shooting the 3, driving and passing at a high level. But again to those who think this is the last you've heard of the Nuggets then you are sorely mistaken. Clipps, GSW and Memph all go down if the Nuggs have homecourt advantage and no Ty or Gallo in the 1st round. Yes.

Damn, that sucks. This and the Tony Parker injury - crappy timing. The Spurs & the Nuggets had a shot to do some real damage in the playoffs, hopefully this doesn't diminish that - hard to say it won't though.

Lawson being hurt at the time really hurts the Nuggets chances. This could be Wilson Chandler's chance to shine though, I have always been a big fan of his game.

According to Synergy, Gallinari averaged 1.316 ppp in transition. Among players w/ 100 possessions that ranks 7th in the NBA.

Oh **** that went over my head. Yeah, good stuff. I'd imagine it'd a fairly decent chunk of his offense considering the Nuggets play style, but I'm curious as to what % of his offense it accounts for.

Looks like he is done for the season. :sigh: (now official)

The Nuggets announced Friday that Danilo Gallinari will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

The fifth-year forward suffered the injury during Denver’s 95-94 defeat of Dallas at the Pepsi Center on Thursday night. An MRI on Friday revealed the ACL injury but no damage to other ligaments or meniscus.

Also, its another player who wears Adidas. This can't be a coincidence. Rose, Shump, Gallo, Barbosa all in the last two years.

So wrong on so many levels:

Good player
Good guy
Good team

And now when the Nuggets go down early all the fans have an excuse when that team wasn't going anywhere significant with him anyway.
