I am shocked Riley was that direct. Usually he's pretty measured, but this is awesome. Wow.

Now I'm hoping the Celtics slip to the 8th seed. That first-round series would definitely be "fireworks," as Terry put it.

Apparently, very delicately:

@GwashNBAGlobe

Response from Danny Ainge to Riley: "We're both right. LeBron should stop complaining and I should manage my own team." #celtics #heat

When asked if complained a lot to officials as a player, Ainge said: "Oh heavens yes. It's not a secret." #celtics #heat

More Ainge: "Pat Riley's right. I should manage my own team and I complained a lot (as a player)." #celtics #heat

And finally the last of Ainge: "And I'm right. LeBron should be embarrassed by how he complains about the calls he gets." #celtics #heat

Might as well not have responded at all.

27 straight wins!!!!! If that's what front running gets you, then maybe your huge heart bulls should try front running. If that is what putting on dunk fests gets you, then maybe your bulls should start putting on dunk fests. . Front running is a luxury that most teams cannot afford. And none as constantly as the Heat. Your saying blowing teams out early and often is weak, or is the only way they aren't gutless. But the fact that they are either always dunking or always front running means they are never gutless. They just won 27 straight games, so they were not gutless for at least 27 straight games. I really don't see how you can ask a team to do anymore than front run. That means you just dominate from start to finish. Sorry, I don't understand why playing good some of the time, then bad some of the time, in a sloppy game, only to win by a point is more impressive than blowing some won the bleep off the court (front running). That's domination. If your gonna hate just say "I hate Lebron and the heat. Its Personal to me." and skip posting all these bull crap reasons for why he's a female dog. The Bulls just played, in what to them was there NBA championship. The Heat had an off night. It happens. Too much heart for the Heat? Hahahahahaha. Your best player doesn't even want to play this year even though hes fine. Heart? Lebron won an NBA championship with every crowd booing him on a crazy level if you think about it. He weathered the storm and won a ring. That's a lot of negativity to take in, and still perform as the best player in the game and win a ring. No player in NBA history has had to endure that kind of negativity from crowd to crowd every game. Whether he deserved it or not (I definitely don't think he did), he still endured it, won a championship in the mist of it, and in the end overcame it. Mad heart dude. I've never seen any player on the Chicago dig down deep like Lebron did when he scored the last 29/30 points in a game in the playoffs against Detroit, including all the points in the fourth quarter (27 I believe). Back and forth, shot for shot, one on five, in the clutch, in the playoffs and winning it. That is probably the best fourth quarter in NBA history. Definitely NBA playoff history. That takes mad, crazy, heart dude...and guts...and confidence. Yes the Heat lost to the Bulls, but the Bulls will loose to the Hornets. Everyone looses. Don't pat yourself on the back so hard just for one win, in which the Heat had a let down and the Bulls played great. Down 27 to Cleveland in the third and fought back to win. Is that what you call front running? An NBA GM wouldn't trade Lebron for the Bulls top five players including a healthy rose. And that's no disrespect to the Bulls. The Heat are much better than the Bulls and they will dominate them in the playoffs if they meet. Its like my boy Syd said. "Even the sun shines on a dogs butt some day. Anybody can win the lottery." And yes, even a very well coached, moderately talented team like the Bulls, can beat an all-time great team in Miami.

Ainge is 100% right though. Lebron gets 450 calls that go his way all year, and the few he doesn't, he has to complain to the media. In the words of Tommy Heinsohn, "GIVE ME A BREAK ... PLLEEEEEEASE".

What Ainge said was true. Lebron is babied by the refs and him complaining about anything is ridiculous. But Riley was straight gangsta with it. Shut Ainge the **** down.

Tale of the Tape

Pat Riley: 68 years-old, 6'4", 205 pounds, NBA Executive of the Year-2011

Danny Ainge:54 years-old, 6'5", 195 pounds, NBA Executive of the Year-2008

I say Ainge mops the floor with Riley's hair goop in 2 rounds.

LeBron James: 28 years old. 6'8", *265 pounds, 3x mvp(about to be 4x)

*assuming.

I say Ainge isn't mopping $#!+

oh really...u want to know something
riley was part of that historic winning streak
oh ya , he won championships as a player, coach, and gm....btw, the last time i checked, riley is in the hall of fame and ainge isn't...nuff said

Riley was a terrible basketball player. He's was/is a good coach and GM, though.

yeah ... iwatched it the finals... it did look a little on the platter and served up. but with that said durrant didnt help his own cause. i cant see a team with the bigs OKC has losing like they did,and as bad as they did. james got away with a few questionables on more than 1 occasion and during clutch times. i say we tell riley shut up ..stay in the FO . and ainge to go put on his tighty shorts.

So you can notice that but you didn't notice anything strange when the HEAT played Dallas in the finals? So you didn't find it strange that Lbj went ghost mode, averaging 1 point in the 4th quarter?

But let me guess, only when they win you notice something, but when they lose everything is legit (blind *** hate).

Ainge was correct. LBJ gets way more calls than he gets taken from him. They won 27 in a row, he had some calls go his way in that stretch.

Riley is also correct and you gotta love him. I saw ainge play and he was a huge cry baby. One of the most irritating players I've ever watched. He was good. But he constantly complained and pouted.

"Oh no!! he said *****. He's classless" Deal with it. Who cares about his language. People are so offended. They've never heard such language! People are such *******.
Riley is old school, tough and protective. Anyone would want him as their coach or GM. He is tough on his guys but if they play hard, we will have their backs.

News flash, Miami has always been the class organization, while the Celtics at least as of late have been chatty as all hell in regards to anything Heat....if Ainge is going to fire away, then he should expect push back, and he deserved 100% of what came his way. Simple.

If he continues to get 0 fouls per game on him called, you might be right.

Ainge was right. Lebron gets enough favoritism from the officials already. Yet he constantly whines all through the game. It is pathetic.

Hopefully the officials take notice.

This is such an ignorant comment... 90% Of the League complain to officials including

Kobe (verbal flops and stare downs)
Wade (stares down official than proceeds to whine)
Chris Paul (I love him but he whines more than anyone)
Kevin Durant (will whine and stare down officials)
Westbrook
ETC
ETC
ETC

Stop attacking one player for making a comment about a game he thought the officials aloud the other team to make non basketball plays when going after Lebron....

I know this is the internet, but use the enter key.

Take a look at the history of teams in the NBA and please oh do elaborate on how you came to the bolded conclusion. If your just baiting, then by all means just admit it, but if you mean what you say, then back it up.
