not intentional.....why would he do it? and its like a follow through, he's doing a fingerroll layup, so where else would the hand go? But seriously another thread about the Heat and Bulls....this is getting ridiculous.

Hard to tell. I'd like to be optimistic and hope it wasn't intentional

I honestly think it was intentional

But Lebron should have been T'd up on that play because you can't just hang on the rim, especially when it's out of frustration and you know you can't block the little man anymore

Nate probably smacked him for being such a sore loser

Ha really now?

LeBron may be a lot of things but loser definitely isn't one of them.

This is the same man that's won like 4 MVPs and a champion and was just leading his team to a 27 game winning streak.

If that's a loser to you, than damn I don't even wanna know what you think of others in the NBA.

metsbulls1025
03-29-2013, 08:34 AM
A sore loser and a loser are 2 different things.

He is saying he was a sore loser because of the way he carried himself at the end of the game because he was losing.

Do you know what a sore loser is?

That's why you don't hang on the rim on defense.

Still waiting for the technical foul to be called

I thought hanging on the rim warranted an automatic technical

This.

Mainly because of the fact that Lebron just decided to hang on the rim for no reason at all

You can hang on the rim "IF" you believe coming down might be dangerous. Maybe someone was under there and the refs didn't T him up for that. But it usually is not a T, but it would have be called a goal tend if Nate didn't make it.

Did the same thing in Boston and didn't get called for it either.

Also, hilarious should have been a poll option.

I think the people in this forum that think that this is intentional have never played organized basketball.... incedental contact happens all the time, and nate is a small guy so throughout his whole career he has had to use his off hand to protect himself when he is going 900% to the rim. Lebron "shouldnt have been standing there" lol. Look at the video again and you will see nate looking at the rim, and not lebron

I mean Lebron himself looks like he kind of even understood it was not intentional as well. Otherwise he might have said something to Nate after the play or in the media. He didnt even mention it.

Is it or is it not worthy of a T as stated in the NBA rule book?

These are the questions that should go through your head before posting the nonsense you post.

Because 99% of players would get T'd up for that. Not Lebron though.

Was that really so hard to understand?

Who is?

Just stating that it's normally a technical foul called... Let's work on reading comprehension

Sunsfan and Justin, man the **** up. Obvious incidental. Really? This is coming up 2 days later and your still crying. My god sorry Lebron couldn't block the little man, and then hung on the rim because he is easily the sorest loser in the entire nba. But you don't see us makin threads stating "Lebron hangs on rim, technical or no?"

LMAO at the Bulls fans, last week they were all crying about an offensive goaltend on Noah which was clearly the right call, and now they're like "STFU HEAT FANS, games over get over it, Lebron should of gotten a T and totally deserved to be hit", but it's painfully obvious that if this would of happened to Derrick Rose you'd all be crying and making threads...

haha, all fans do this type of stuff though.

I believe that with people around the basket and also getting hit in the face in the air, might be the reason no technical was called. I find it hilarious that people are mad it wasn't.

They both could of easily been T-ed up, Nate Robinsons hand clearly changed direction before it hit Lebron in the face, and Lebron grabbed the rim, which could of warranted a tech, maybe the refs decided **** it, let's keep playing

I don't think it was intentional because lebron came into the hand. If Lebron was standing there or jumping straight up i would think it was more intentional. Lebron only hung on the rim because he got slapped and it distracted him, I believe he was going for the block, since hanging on the rim is goaltending

When you're trying to make a layup in traffic the last thing you're worrying about is slapping someone in the face who is twice your size.

I don't think it was intentional as much as it was reactionary.

And LeBron should not have been called for a technical for hanging on the rim.

It is fairly obvious if you watch the clip, that LeBron get's hit in the face as his hands are nearing the rim. Grabbing the rim was reactionary as much as Nate's hand hitting LeBron in the face was reactionary.

No foul needed to be called in either direction.

The Heat-Bulls threads need to stop. They are ridiculous.

I don't think it was intentional. If it was, maybe it was in retaliation to Lebron shouldering Boozer. I didn't notice it during the game, but seeing that gif made me laugh out loud.
