Kobe has passed Isiah Thomas in all time turnovers with 3683 turnovers. He'll pass moses malone and for 4th place next season most likely. Never knew how much Isiah turned over the ball, but he played 13 seasons and kobe is in his 17th season. No wonder people call Isiah overrated.

IT is NOT overrated. Truly UNDERRATED if anything.

Wonder if the mods are gonna close this, it's based on the same concept as "So and so just got their thousandth point, assits, etc."

favre leads the NFL in interceptions all time. it isn't unusual for all time greats to climb all time turnover lists on their way to the top. especially when you're closer to being a twenty year vet than you are to being a ten year vet.

He has played forever and touches the ball a lot. If Lebron has just as long of a career he will be up there as well.

By the time Kobe retires, if he plays until 38 or so as I expect him to, he will likely have both the most missed FGs record and most turnovers.

Both need to be put in context though. FG% tells you more than total missed FGs and the assist-to-turnover ration tells you more about the turnovers. Stockton was a PG for longer than anybody in the league when he retired, so yeah, he's going to be near the top of the list, but while his total turnover numbers are attainable, his assists and steals are not.

Kobe doesn't pass he turns over. Ay least he be number one at something when his career over

Shoot solo or turnover trying.

So if Isaiah Thomas has less turnovers all time than Kobe and he is overrated according to a Lakers fan, doesn't that make Kobe overrated?

No no no Kobe moving up the all time scoring list makes him better than Jordan but the turnovers mean nothing!
