Seems to me that the C`s are the Heat `s kryptonite? That series was close last year and could`ve gone either way. If the Heat play Boston again I am not sure if the Heat could beat the again.

I think both teams would rather not see each other in the playoffs but if they do, it could go either way I think.

Funny coming from somebody who has no objective when it comes to Lebron at all

Heat would dismantle the C's in a 7 game series even with a healthy Rondo and Garnett.

Don't think they care. Champions cannot go into it with that thought process.

lol kryptonite. Come playoffs, things change. The Heat don't give a crap who they play. They'll wreck anyone in their way.

They don't care.

The C's are without KG...but it's hard to imagine them getting this effort out of the other guys 4 times in a series.

And even with that, they're probably gonna lose this game.

I think people underestimate how horrible the Celtics can be offensively sometimes, and how truly amazing the Heat are defensively. Just don't think they have the fire power to beat the Heat. Nor the good ball movement.

Why ask this question had to go through them the last 2 years so it doesn't matter if they go against them or not they are ready for anyone.

I think the Spurs slow it down Popovich team has the best chance at taking out the Heat, big reach I know with the Spurs leading the WC, but that brand of basketball is what I feel can get the job done. You will not outrun the heat. Outsmart them.

The Heat beat them in the playoffs in the last two season. Why would they be afraid to play them again? Plus this is the weakest Celtics team of the last three seasons.

I mean Miami has beaten them 2 years in a row. And it seems like people forget we didnt have Bosh for half of last years series.

I agree with OP. Even though Miami beat them twice the past two years, Celtics always put up a fight against Miami. Even against all odds, aka Rondo being injured, they always make it an intense battle. I'd hate to see the Boston but not as much as the Pacers.

Well if you don't want Miami to have a cakewalk in the first round then playing the C's is the best bet.

How do I say this...

If the HEAT did meet the C's in the ECF, I would not enjoy it.

When they play, it feels like the games are soooo scripted... I would like to be able to watch a playoff series where both teams are playing to their best capabilities, so I will pass.

It sure would be fun to end their season for a third year in a row.

Yeah, I would not be a fan of this matchup either. Though it would be fun to watch!

NOT if Rondo is playing with KG, team Green could be a challenge for the heat along with the pacers

How exactly are they our kryptonite again? Pretty sure we sent them packing two years in a row.

I honestly hope we play them because it wouldn't feel right if we don't break their hearts once again.

i think the Heat would benefit from playing the Celtics in the playoffs. it'll mkae them that much better for the finals to go through tough battles. Indiana could be a really tough series too. i think they're just fine with facing them. you don't wanna play all cup cakes then get to the finals & the west team is tough as nails & you're not used to being tested by then

Really? Because the Celtics were up on the Heat 3-2 last year. Let's not pretend they wouldn't have a chance, when they almost beat them yesterday without KG.
