I predict if we don't score a lot or an average amount we will lose. I will somehow attribute this to the fact we take jump shots.

Ill predict that if Harrison Barnes hits double digit points and plays extended minutes we win. If jack plays more minutes the Barnes we lose

The core of the problem is Curry because he doesn't play with that passion a leader needs to play with, one that will bark at his fellow players if they don't match his energy and desire to win. Curry simply doesn't play with that Kobe-type desire and passion. It doesn't set a good example for Barnes, etc. In the same vein as Billy Beane, in the offseason is the time to trade Curry before next season. If that Rondo deal, that was straight up a few seasons back, is still on the table, assuming he passes a physical, take it. Rondo plays with that passion.

Hey, Skip Bayless.

Clutch stats: 114.3 88.9
But even if his clutch stats sucked your commentary would still be inane and head throbbing stupid.

No, Beane would not trade Curry for Rondo because Curry is better and has better statistics. Along with a better W-L impression in games played and not played.

Curry's Usage: 25.9
Rondo's Usage: 21.2
Curry's TS: 579
Rondo's TS: 512

Curry's Synergy: 113 106
Rondo's Synergy: 103 102 (Career 106 101)

Curry is much better.

I call this a win if bogut can get double digit points. and if landry has a break out game from his slump. Curry and Klay will play fine, Barnes doesnt really need to score too much, just attack the rim and not settle for jumpers... Lee will play his game. Jack will come in. I really want Bogut to be the xfactor for once offensively. Clearly we need a legit second unit next season... Jack and Landry isn't a unit... and hopefully over the summer Ezeli will gain offensive confidence while working out with bogut and will make him a bigger threat. And if we draft a SG/SF who is offensive, or bring up leslie taylor from the D-league we will have a better chance in mid game situations. Like when curry and Klay go to the bench, we have almost no offense... hope we win, don't wanna see us drop. But also the rockets schedule gets harder and ours is getting easier... still have 2 against the hornets, one against the wizards, one against the kings, 2 against the blazers and a game against the wolves. we still believe

Id much rather make a trade for wall. The guys tearing it up right now and has the wizards winning. Hed complement klay real well too. i dont think we have enough to get him with just curry though.

my problem with curry is not his ability. I completely believe curry can hold his own with basically any pg in the league. In recent weeks when teams have been sending 2 and sometimes 3 defenders at curry hard.... he just sits 30 feet from the basket and dribbles out the clock. If you have 3 guys guarding you... pass the ball and run to dennys or something. The rest of your team is playing 4 on 2.

It isnt just curry- the team doesnt try and make things happen on offense very often. They just dribble around going nowhere and shoot a bad shot. Then the other team runs a lay up drill. I know we are a jump shooting team, but there should be some effort to create decent shots and an occasional cut down the lane or back door play for barnes or landry. The weakside movement (or lack there of) is painful to watch lately.

120-107 rockets

It would be nice if the warriors came out with something to prove after the chicago home loss. Kind of how the bulls came out (without their best player) after the kings blow out. It doesnt seem like the players have too much pride though. The warriors are a better team than the rockets up and down the roster- but they dont even try against the rockets for some reason. Maybe this game with soooo much playoff implication will cause them to be a little bit more aggressive. parsons can shoot.... but he can not defend barnes going to the basket. and its time for bogut to prove he is a top 5 center in the league like people are talking about. He really looks just a little bit better than kwame brown for most of the time hes out there. NO point in trading monta for THAT.

BTW- A lot of people said that there is no way the bucks would have traded bogut for monta if the warriors waited for bogut to get healthy before making the trade. I disagree. If bogut came back and played like this- I still think the bucks would have considered the deal. (warriors might think twice though)

I think the warriors will actually win this one. I think suge was onto something stylez.

If they don't come out with something to prove and at least put out a winning effort, then suffice to say, we will be one and done in the playoffs anyways whether we're the 6th 7th or 8th seed.

We need to have a winning mentality and the rockets came into Oakland and destroyed us. We need to do the same thing to them.

bogut block party

does bogut have like 5 blocks already?

This is kind of how I pictured boguts impact on the team. maybe not THIS many blocks every night. But covering up defensive mistakes by the wing players, and somehow being able to defend both sides of the basket at the same time. It looks like a few times the rockets tried to use the rim to protect the shot and it didnt seem to matter.

well atleast against the warriors. They live and die by the threat of penatration. Boguts activity has made that less of a concern. The whole team seems to be having timing issues, Warriors are working hard.... but thomas robinson is forgetting to shoot the ball when he goes up to dunk it (I think thats what happened)

Also- harden is getting treated the best, but overall the refs are allowing a decent amount of contact. So far so good- and it would be nice if this game lifted boguts morale for the rest of the season. Hes played a lot of minutes- and we have another game tommorow night so i hope that means hes feeling better. It might be because they just want to get this game over in the next quarter, or the coaching staff realizes this is a big game.

Statistical fact? How? Based upon what evidence since you have to take into account all games of this magnitude historically. With a team 1/2 game ahead..That and other things difficult to measure must factor into the outcome you have right?

Ive always thought the warriors were a better team than the rockets. harden is a star, but the warriors depth is better and the warriors are a lot better. (I really dont think jeremy lin is as great as people think). I thought the problem was a lack of effort closing out (and that changed a little bit- although lin should not be hitting 60% of his 3 pt shots)

yknow... a games outcome isnt like flipping a coin or something that is random. Theres a lot of things happening on the floor that change the outcome of the game or the outcome of certain plays. Contesting 3 point shots and running them off the 3 point line.... doesnt allow them to shoot 23- 30 from 3 pt line. Bogut working his tail off to cover both sides of the lane and cause missed shots in the key was A LOT DIFFERENT than what was happening vs the bulls 2 nights ago. The outcome isnt just a random propability. I mean- the rockets missed some shots- but there was a different level of effort in this game. The defense also looked like it had different objectives than it did in the last games vs the rockets

But Guppy will tell you that he said we'd probably lose, and not saying that we WOULD lose. You were wrong either way, but you just don't like to admit you were wrong. Whether you said probable or will, you were still wrong.

So much for calling out Mibs on taking both sides, when you do exactly the same thing. Because if the Warriors lost, you would've said "See? I told you they'd probably lose..." so either way, whether they won or lost, you'd be right.

What we saw last night was the kind of fire I keep talking about that we have been lacking for most of this season. The desire to win more than your opponent, HUGE sense of urgency and aggressive activity during the game! Last night's team was the team we saw beat Miami in Miami! I hope we can bring that same energy tonight and even more so against the Spurs in a few days. We will need that kind of performance if we want to have a chance of finally winning in San Antonio!

a stronger effort and a lot more energy and urgency than in recent games. Houston was not on their game though and they did not have the energy most teams should have had in that magnitude of a game.
