Who do you guys think are the best enforcers in the league right now? Also, I feel like we're really in a dark age with them. Not many Charles Oakley types left.

Kurt Thomas was a G for the Bulls.

Ibaka. What does the man have to do to get suspended? I'd be throwing bows on the daily if I was that fool!

With todays basketball you really wont see these players anymore. I feel like David West still trys though, but again this is nothing like the 80's, 90's and even early 2000's.

Haha yeah, there really seem to be two types of "enforcers" in the nba today.

**** talkers, and **** punchers. I'm not really a fan of either.

Its not really the players fault though. The nba has pretty much legislated the necessity of legit enforcers out of the league.

Which is too bad honestly, because i thought having a couple guys like that in games added another level of intensity into the mix.

None. You can't be in today's NBA.

Bill Laimbeer and Charles Barkley are two of exemplary examples of what enforcers used to be in the NBA. Now you don't have those kinds of players and it's a travesty.

the only real enforcers in sports are found on a hockey rink.

haslem ..or what ever the heat guys name is.
the white guy on the pacers with the funny face...Tyler something.
Ibaka for sure.

Artest isn't really an enforcer or he would have busted D wades lip for last years all star thing.. he just like to fight for himself.

Tyler Hansbrough. He does about as much as you can get away with without a suspension. Hard hits, harder sceens, lots of shoving in the paint, guy gets under people's skin.

If I were to be in an alley-fight against some street punks and I could choose 5 NBA players to fight with me using only there bare hands, I would choose:

Perk- Differ enemies with just one scowl.
Z-Bo- Might be the scariest man in the world.
Artest- A lot of guys in the NBA are tough, only a few are crazy.
Hansbourough- Seems to generally enjoy fighting.
Jermaine O'neal- retired I know, but that punch he threw at the Malice was legendary.

O'neal plays for the suns. I believe he is taking care of his daughter right now, but he has not retired.
