How does Metta get a Flagrant Two for this, especially retroactive. It was an obvious boxout, he put his hands UP getting ready for the rebound and faried backed up into his elbow, heck Metta probably had to get a tetanus shot after the game, that was teeth.

Then we have Serge Ibaka, with an OBVIOUS flagrant foul against Blake Griffin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=quUZ0P9pJ2Y

the whole time Ibaka is never looking at the person with the ball he's looking towards griffin, never goes up for the ball and chops down at his arm hitting him in the midsection.

All he gets his a Flag 1 and no ejection.

Metta is such a scapegoat.

P.S. Love this comment on Youtube though.

Blake "hey serge, whats the capitol of Thailand?"

Serge "Bangcock"

Ibaka should get F2... Metta's F2 is just an accident while Ibaka's F1 is absolutely intentional

Damn didn't see the OKC game earlier. Metta just has a horrible reputation though so the refs always judge him on that.

Ibaka also hasn't started the ugliest brawl in NBA history. Maybe that could have something to do with it.

^so? that was like 8 years ago. if we are basing off reputation then KG should be all nba 1st team.

Its about rep. How guys like Kobe gets any call he wants when a guy with a small name like Ty Lawson gets no calls.

the league gave him the F2 retroactively, he got a flag 1 during the game, thats whats so ridiculous.

I bet Ibaka gets nothing.

**** OKC! This ****, Westbrook being a classless **** against the Denver mascot and their fans (twice), Perkins always being a trouble-maker, KD leading the league in technicals, now this ****?

Oh yeah, OKC are so classy. Dunno why the refs love these clowns

Ibaka has been a dirty player for a while now.

Maybe the fact that Metta has a history of beating up fans has something to do with it?

Ibaka does not have a rep and is barely a dirty player. Durant has more techs than him. Also Scola shouldn't have got all up in his grill and totally had it coming. In the Diaw video Diaw flopped like crazy. I'm sure the punch/push was significant enough to shove him back but it wasn't enough to make him fall.

I have a better question. Why is Ron Artest not banned from the NBA.

Metta's reputation is what it is, but what Ibaka did was uncalled for and he should've been tossed on the spot. I don't know how officials could go to replay review and really deem that a flagrant 1. Will Bynum pulled the same thing and he was tossed....oh well. It is what it is. The league will do what they will.

That's who it was Will Bynum, I knew someone else did it this season and got tossed.

I think it warrants a 1 game suspension for sure. Whether that happens or not, who knows. Wouldn't be too surprised if nothing more comes of it and it goes unpunished.
