1. Who's the most athletic power forward right now? Can just really fly and jump out of the gym.

2. Who's the most athletic power forward in the past 3 decades?

Who's more athletic...Kemp or Blake? Who comes out on top 1 on 1?

Blake to me, he has better handles, which is needed in 1-1

Blake, unless leborn is playing PF.

Almost feel like OP is a troll, but obviously Blake right now unless I am missing some random backup who is unbelievably gifted athletically but has 0 skills.

Blake's the most athletic PF ever - more so than Kemp by a noticeable margin imo.

Faried might have the QUICKEST ups ive ever seen (which is how he rebounds so well without veteran savvy or good height for a big) but i would still give the edge to Griffin

JasonJohnHorn

Obviously Z-Bo. Have you seen that guy jump? Neither have I, yet he still manages to get all those rebounds? He is easily the most athletic guy who isn't athletic that I have ever seen.

Seriously... it's between LBJ and Griffin, depending on how you define LBJ. He is one of those anomalous players who don't really fit into any traditional position, but you could argue he is a PF (though you could also argue that is a PG.

Blake now. Barkley for overall athleticism all time. Probably th only pf i know that can dribble the length of the floor at full speed and finish emphatically.

Probably not number 1 but Chris Webber has to be up there.

Stop. Prime Barkley was indeed a very good athlete, but not even on the same tier - let alone better than Blake. Griffin's a very good dribbler, he could easily accomplish a full court dribble with speed culminating a more emphatic dunk than Barkley would bother imagining.

Barkley was an insane athlete. 6'4" when he woke up, yet played with the big men down low forever. Very underrated as an athlete, unless you are rating the word "athlete" as running, jumping, quickness only.

No I agree, I've backed him up on that end a hundred times with youngins who don't know better, but he wasn't Blake.

Griffin and Kemp. Might as well add Lebron since he plays a lot at the 4.

Don't sleep on McDyess in his prime. Pre-injury he was an amazing athlete. Right up there with Blake and Kemp imo.

I havent seen Ibaka's name mentioned yet but he's a freak that is getting stronger while extending his range. His ft line dunk was really impressive a couple years back and he blocks shots at a ridiculous rate because of his length and bounce

Until I see anyone else dunk with a hand behind behind his head with double massive wrist bands, the answer is Karl Malone.

Now: Blake Griffin or LeBron if he counts as an PF.

Past 3 Decades: Shawn Kemp

Zach Randolph.

In all seriousness it's gotta be Blake Griffin, his physical gifts are just truly amazing.

Past 3 decades I'd probably go with Shawn Kemp.

How athletic were some of these great power forwards? It's the 4th page and Karl Malone has been mentioned just once. He doesn't seem that far above the rim on that pic.
