Seriously now, take a look at this game log.

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/1966/lebron-james

He's only shot below 44% TWICE in 54 games and in one of those games almost had a triple double, the other he posted 21-7-3, an All-Star line for just about anyone else.

This is one of the most astounding things we've seen in years. This guy just doesn't not play well ever, which makes it that much more scary playoff time because you know every game he has will be great.

We've entered an interesting (and sadly bad era for a fan like me). As a Knick fan, we just went through it 15 years ago.

From 1990-1998, we saw so many legends not win an NBA Title because of Jordan. Barkley, Ewing, Stockton, Malone - etc. - none won a title because Jordan played. Only Hakeem gobbled them up because Jordan retired briefly.

Now LeBron isn't on Jordan's level - he may never be - but he's at a level right below him that could lead to another era when a number of superstars - Durant, Melo, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, CP3 - never win titles because they played in LeBron's day. They ultimately can because the new Barkley, sadly enough. And the Heat are so good they probably could rattle off those 6, 7 titles they originally talked about.

Eras like this really suck, because you like when one player doesn't dominate the sport, but this game log from this season is so telling to what we might be about to see. Jordan dominated in a way that tantalized everyone, but LeBron is coming around this time when Jordan did it as perfect and magically as you could, and it might just leave many teams fans massively disappointed until 2020 in a much more boring way.

As great as he is Lebron isn't going to stop anyone from winning a title - at least not the level Jordan did in the 90s. that was ridic.

I believe he stopped the Knicks, Pacers, Celtics and Thunder from winning a title.

I agree with Becks. Especially since the Bulls had probably the best coach of all-time as well. Lebron is great, but winning as much titles as the Bulls did will probably never happen again.

Uhhh no - the Knicks? LMAO, the Pacers? These are above average teams. Anyone would have stopped them from winning a title. Seriously who were the Knicks and the Pacers going to beat out West?

and the Celtics won a title in 2008 and I'm pretty sure Lebron was in the league then.

Jordan stopped - Stockton, Malone, Barkley, Kevin Johnson, Payton, Ewing, Kemp, Miller from winning ANY titles.

you can't compare the Knicks and the Pacers to them lol. The Thunder yes, but that's only one year lets see how he fares in the future.

"Bad" is subjective. But anyways, here you go:

You're right that is a bad game for Lebron, but by anyone else's standards that's a solid night.

LEBRON should win MVP this year unanimously, but for some reason people think Durant is having a comparable season

LBJ should win it hands down, best season maybe ever in the modern NBA

Don't be blinded by tallies, it's a bad game.

Go on google and search the term "hindsight bias."

He is on a mission this year. Easily his best ball of his career and he is keeping his mouth shut, head down and plowing forward. Never thought I'd say this but I am proud of him! I think OKC and Miami meet in the finals for an epic showdown.

A Dwayne Wade injury(since LBJ doesnt get injured) is the only thing that keeps Miami out of the finals.

Honestly your first statement then was a little vague. You only stated he wasn't going to stop anyone from winning a title and I just posted everyone he beat last year. So really I was just stating who he did stop.

Well, in terms of basketball-reference's "game score", he by some definition has not. They say 40 is "outstanding" and 10 is "average".

LeBron's lowest 5 were:

@POR (1/10): 11.8
@IND (1/8): 12.4
@PHO (11/17): 13.8
PHO (11/5): 15.7
@NYK (11/2): 16.5

I mean, he's shot under 40% once all year. He's shot under 50% only 8 times. He's only scored under 20 points twice. He has only 3 games with an offensive rating under 100.

He really hasn't. It's pretty remarkable.

KD has been right there too. His worst game scores are similar. But he's been under 40% NINE times and under 50% NINETEEN times. He's scored under 20 points 7 times.

For comparison's sake. Kobe has had 10 games rated lower than LeBron's worst (GmSc). Melo has had 8 (18 worst than Bron's 5th worst). CP3 has had 8 worse. TP has had 9 worse.

In his worst game, at Portland, he went 6-16 for 15 points, 9 assists and 10 rebounds. Let that sink in...

There was one game where he went 6-16 but
43 6-16 .375 1-5 .200 2-5 .400 10 9 1 2 3 4 15

He still got 9 asts, 10 boards and 3 stls and 2 blocks lmao. Does that count?
