Several sources believe the Jazz will keep Raja Bell simply so he doesn't sign with the Lakers. Utah and L.A. will compete for playoff spot.

Don't think I've ever heard of this before. Pretty awesome:laugh2:

They be stupid if they waived him. He could help many teams that they may play in the playoffs not just the Lakers.

But even if we play in the playoffs we wont be seeing the Jazz...

And plus, I'm not too bummed... Raja is good but is he so good that he can turn us into a championship contender? :laugh2:

My point was what do they care? We won't be seeing them in the playoffs even if we make it...

This is like my older brother not throwing away his old broken toy just so I wont get it. And me saying "you think I give a *****?" Raja Bell sucks @$$. We dont need more broken down guards. We need bigs

Jazz do not want to improve the Lakers win curvature.

We already have Meeks, this makes no sense anyways. Need a big man, or a SF. We have enough guards.

Raja is still in the league? He must be a serious scrub by now. Doubt he would make the Lakers much better.

I doubt Bell is the difference between LA making and missing the playoffs but still a smart strategy.

utah jazz logic : lets not release this scrub that cant even crack our rotation, so that he cant go to the lakers and make them better.... if he isnt good enough to help them win, how is he good enough to help the lakers win?? jeeeeezus thats the dumbest **** ive ever heard

also, actually glad they wont because id rather see us pick up a big man or a back up athletic 3

Its a pretty classless move by Utah imo. The whole reason they signed him in the first place was to keep him from the Lakers and here they are continuing the theme. Also Lakers fans are way too overly emotional about basketball. A player turns us down for a better opportunity and they forever become the worst and most hated player in the league.

Like most people are saying... Bell isn't going to be the difference maker for the Lakers. All Utah is doing is holding a man back from a better opportunity which is rather pathetic.

Wait, and I'm not trolling here, Raja Bell is still serviceable?

He signed a contract with them. They can do whatever they want. It's not classless AT ALL.

No, it's not classless. It's a part of competitive sports. Don't be so sensitive.

O'Connor says Jazz always wanted to buy out Bell, but that the veteran guard wouldn't agree to minimum deal.

Because they are competing with you for a playoff spot.

Shouldn't be too confusing....

And to whoever said so, it's not classless. He's under contract. They have no obligation to cut him.

Honestly this is great, don't want him anywhere near the lakers after he spurned us a few years ago. I'm not saying the FO isn't interested, I'm just saying I'm glad utah hasn't released him. Don't want him here, he sucks. His D isn't even good anymore.
