Lmao I'll laugh if Fisher gets his sixth ring and leaves Kobe with his 5 that he seems so unappreciative of

If Fish wants to play, let him play. That being said, I don't get what OKC is doing? Why didn't they just keep Maynor?

Moolah maybe?

This bugs me because Fish is a Laker.. If he's not playing with them, he shouldn't play. Like what Anquan Boldin said about how if the ravens cut him, he'd just retire. Not like Fish has anything left in his tank or anything, but still.

I don't get this. He leaves Dallas saying he needs time with family and all of a sudden he signs back with OKC?

This was obviously because Dallas sucks and he didn't want to be on a ****** *** team.

Asik's better

Honestly, I've liked Derek Fisher until last years trade deadline. What a joke, he forced the rockets into releasing him so he could play for OKC. Then he asks for his release from Dallas stating he can't do NBA travel anymore and wants to spend time with his family only to turn around to sign with OKC. My opinion of fisher has dropped greatly in the last two seasons.

this is dumb. So a guy should stop making money just because the team he started out on doesn't want him any more?

Good lord people have ridiculous expectations of sports players.

He has family a hour from the Thunder. His mom actually and that's where they stayed last year he said. Familiarity. To be honest I think getting hurt scared him, he hurt his knee, and couldn't play in a game, that was scary for the iron man. He left, went back in the gym, as its been said he has been allowed to practice at Laker facilities. Now he just signed with a team of guys he knows, a coach he trusts, and really he will be fine in that role like he was last year as Maynor just didnt get it without Harden.

It's b/c he's a complete dick hole. He has done this multiple times. Says this mess about time with his family and then immediately back to a contending team. Be a damn man and play out your contract.

If Derek Fisher was with the Thunder last season, they would've swept Miami.

This, he'll act as the 3rd PG and play some 2 in a small ball lineup. Could just be emergency PG or he could play 8 to 10 mins a game as a small ball 2 guard.Even if he never touches the court i know how our guys felt about him from a leadship and experience standpoint but i think him and Brewer give us some options to be a bit more versatile when we play the Spurs, Heat, Etc. I think both these guys could give us a solid 8 to 12 mins a piece as the 9th and 10th men in rotation and represent an upgrade at those spots.
