Lakers offering Steve Blake, Chris Duhon, Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris for 2nd-rounders, sources say. Looking to unload, free roster spots.

LOL good luck. Nobody wants that trash.

Duhon/Blake to Mavericks or Raptors or Celtics.

Blake could net a 2nd rounder but that's about it.

I mean, I value the Lakers 2015 second rounder that we have pretty damn little, and I wouldn't trade that for a single one of those guys. I'd almost consider Morris just because anything is better than Ish Smith, but it's still probably not worth out time.

Those are 4 really crappy players. Blake might fetch a 2nd rounder....

I almost feel like this thread is so pointless it belongs in the Lakers forum. Why would the general NBA fan give a crap about the Lakers wanting to unload horrible players for 2nd rounders? If it were a done trade, that would be one thing, but it's nowhere close to happening.

Darius Morris & Steve Blake might get them a 2nd rounder, just maybe.

We don't even have this up in the Lakers forum

Whatever team picks up the fearless foursome will instantly be title contenders!!

Blake could be a solid backup for a lot of teams.

As a GM, I wouldn't want Morris, Ebanks, or Duhon. Morris was a project and he still has a little potential, but I doubt many teams want him.

In a league where 2nd rounders don't always even make the team most of these players, especially Blake, are worth a 2nd rounder talent wise. I don't know about their contracts though. That is where they might not be worth it.

if they're looking to free up roster slots, does this mean a bigger trade will be going down? IE, Howard/Pau for pieces?

02-21-2013, 12:17 PM
this could be a Previous trade to make roster spot for a Pau or Dwight for 3/4 players trade.

Blake for a 2nd rounder?

What are you thinking Mitch? Jesus.

2nd round draft picks are pretty much worthless!! So for any team that needs depth at pg or sf(ebanks), To get an experienced NBA player is a good deal. At least you know what you are getting.
