This should be one possession game was yet again ruined by the refs power to call a technical. Two late technicals equating to two points late in the fourth period on a 1pm game on ABC. Wow.

I don't even understand why they have the power to call one. Unless there is fighting between the players, just because a player curses the ref out, doesn't mean he should get a technical. It's an emotional game. They already dictate the foul calls.

In all sports, referees in basketball are by far the worst and have by far the most say/power in the game. It's insanity.

Gay has been terrible though

They as a team have been solid since he's been there, but he's been terrible

21.4 points on 20.5 shots isn't anything to be excited about

Dude's shooting 39% from the field. He has a 42% eFG% and a 47.1% TS%.

They've been winning in spite of his bad play. Gay has NEVER been this bad. It will cost them in the long run unless he gets better.

If I'm a Raps fan I'm excited by the fact that they've done well with him playing so bad. He can't play worse than this...few players could. But you can't deny how bad he's been. Besides 2 "clutch" shots (that wouldn't have been needed if he shot 45% from the field), he's been a detriment.

hes brought tough defense and the stuff that don't show up on the box score, plus its not like he chucking he is missing easy shots.

Seriously Dallas fans are so passionate for a team that is out of playoffs

thats because they win this game they can make a realistic push for a seed.

*****ing wont help anything but it truly is beyond frustrating to see Refs cost you so many pocessions and points and then end up having it be a nail-biter down the stretch when it easily could have been the other way around without the technicals, missed out of bounds call, missed shooting fouls on Dirk/Carter, ghost reach in foul on Kobe, etc.

such a stressfull sport unless you're watching a top 2 team

That LakerMaster24 character sticks out the most in my head. He was wishing a career ending injury on Blaker Griffin, however I won't commit the fallacy of composition in regards to Laker fans.

And more often than not I see you guaranteeing wins against vastly superior teams, and if you say that they are gonna lose then you add some type of wiggle room which would imply that there're still gonna win. I can't fault you for making predictions in favor of your team, but it does come off quite homeristic.

Also were you there when I made my username? How do you know that it HAS to be about Kobe?

Because there is no one else in the NBA with the #24 who most of his career has been falsely called a ball hog when in reality he's an above average passer at his position and when he wants to can be a top 15 facilitator in the league. Not to mention u do always talk about Kobe in a negative way.

Grizzlies earned that win, terrific defensive team. Nets played with some heart, but the turnovers and poor free throw shooting cost them. This is the first game this season Deron has played that he actually looked like Deron Williams of old.

I think that's the smartest thing they've done this season. You want to keep Joe healthy, there's like 27 games left, he's their closer. MarShon is horrible to watch defensively, that Tele guy really helped him out tonight.

It was flowing a lot better when Teletovic was in. No Joe didn't help either, MarShon isn't ready for the big stage yet. Nets fought, but the better team won.

Kirk being out has made Nate Robinson almost have to play a facilitator role, and that doesn't always end very well offensively.

Brook Lopez 26 minutes... Reggie Evans 27 minutes... worst coach in the NBA?

Well this is most likely the last few months of his NBA coaching career, unless he actually evolves. The funny thing is the offense and rotations are 90% of what Avery was running yet he was getting praised early on. He has to continue using Marshon when we are starving for points, and you have to take Evans out of the starting lineup he can't start with Wallace how much more obvious is this?

Chill_Will_24
02-25-2013, 01:13 AM
he shot horribly tonight.

And not once did the guy say hmm let me try him out there while Reggie is not on the floor to make life impossible for him. Reggie Evans out there means Lopez can get doubled every time. Lopez is soft but his life is much more difficult than it needs to be.

The fact that Reggie Evans plays so many minutes on a playoff team is ridiculous

Anyone who thinks the Lakers are catching the Rockets should look at these last two games. With a shorthanded roster, they come back from a 14-point deficit to beat the Thunder and then with an equally short roster go on the road to beat the Nets. Now their next 12 games are easy as hell.
