not uglier than those jerseys. I can't prove it but those jerseys are prbly why no one is scoring. It feels like high school or college as a fresh, we use to give sleeves to non shooters at my highschool :laugh2:

Probably man... Wouldn't surprise me if both teams get hot this half

Don't really brag about my team because, well they're The Blazers, but I do rep them. And I'm a Harden fan, but I don't particularly like Miami.

You guys aren't looking too bad. Hickson is beastin . . Batum too.

Hickson has been our best player this season imo. Sure he doesn't have fancy moves but the guy plays hard every night and is a automatic double-double. But you guys are gonna win this. We just love to find ways to lose.

02-23-2013, 01:30 AM

Not too sure about us winning. You guys look just as good right now.

Hickson is a solid player, there's a reason Cavs were so high on him. Doesn't have the prettiest game in the world but he makes the most out of it with his hustle. Really impressed with what I've been seeing this game. Dude has a motor, just seems to work his *** off every play.

That looks like LMA's 5th foul. We're not going anywhere. I'd rather we start tanking to get a good pick and then try to comeback strong next year.

Yea, I had mixed feelings when we got him from Sacramento. His play was just abysmal there. He was a nice surprise last season and has become a consistent contributor this season.

We still need a defensive C though. Got any recommendations? ;)

Lakers + Giants
02-23-2013, 01:38 AM
So 5 second violation when you're not even posting up anymore? You call it when he's facing up taking a jumper? C'mon now!

Kings, though, that's all you need to know. The same team that just gave up on their 5th overall pick. . .

Err the pick is just another asset. In theory LMA should play like he was playing last year, Lillard and Batum are going to improve alot over the off season. It's like a perfect storm type of thing.

Dang bitter much? Even if they called it a 3 the Lakers would have still be up 3 with FTs most likely coming. If you want to point anything out then point out when MWP fouled whoever it was to make him knock it out of bounds and it being the lakers ball.

The officials just handed the game to the lakers. Lilliard got fouled 2 times from three point land and never got the call. Also, that was a 3 by Batum, they counted it as a 2..that's bull****. Blazer's should of won this game. Portland fans gonna be pissed. I'm a bulls fan but what i just saw right now was ****** up. If the refs keep ****ing over teams like this then yeah kobe's right, lakers will make the playoffs. Bull****.

Man that's frustrating. Second straight time Houston wins a game they should lose and they gain no ground on the teams ahead of them and gain no buffer from the Lakers. At least Denver lost, but they're so far ahead that doesn't seem to matter.

I honestly think because they looked at it and they missed a foul call which they couldnt call after replay. If you look at it the help defender came by and grabbed his wrist.

Are you a Blazers fan? If so, I apologize. But if it makes you feel better, the Lakers are also mediocre, and my Rockets were the most mediocre sports franchise in all of professional sports the last three years. I'm far too familiar with mediocrity.

I'm not gonna lie it kind of does. I liked Nash, Dwight, Clarke and Gasol, but just being on the Lakers HAS to make me root against them. And it's cool in general, sports take me away from all the ****ed up realities of the world, but it's not like it's my livelihood or anything.

Also Harden has been great for you guys, while Asik has been a pleasant surprise as well. Any ideas on the improvements you guys are gonna make in the offseason with that shitload of capspace?

The Rockets forum has discussed that a lot lately. The consensus among the whole city is that Morey will make a run at Dwight, but no one can figure out what they'll do with Asik if that happens. If they moved Asik and some other pieces, they could feasibly add Dwight AND J-Smoove, but it's still a long shot. I'm looking forward to seeing what Thomas Robinson brings to the table, though, because I have grown to loathe Dwight in a lot of ways over the last year and I'm not sure he's a perfect fit in Houston.

If they can't get Dwight, though, I'm not sure they do much of anything. They'll have a ton of trade chips this time at the next trade deadline to possibly woo Kevin Love from Minnesota, and I think that's the guy Morey and McHale really covet.

Dang bitter much? Even if they called it a 3 the Lakers would have still be up 3 with FTs most likely coming. If you want to point anything out then point out when MWP fouled whoever it was to make him knock it out of bounds and it being the lakers ball.

This was an easy win for the blazers, if the refs made the right calls. I don't know which game you were watching. I don't post here in the nba forum at all, this is my first time. But tonight's officiating was just wrong. I watched only the last 5 mins of this game and as soon as the game came on, Portland was getting fouled like crazy and refs viewed that shot of batums for more than 2 mins and you can clearly tell that, that was a 3. Bad Officiating man. Portland are also fighting for that 8th seed. This game just ******ed them over.

In order for LAL to win, they have to get to the eighth seed. They get to it by winning and hoping a team drops off. If they win and another team lose, that's a win. If Houston wins and LAL loses, they are already another two games behind.

Monta is beast
02-23-2013, 03:32 AM
Warriors aren't going to be fighting for the bottom seeds. After this 5 game road trip, we have 16 of our next 22 games at home. I think we'll finish 5th, we have a slim chance at getting the 4th seed.

Stern is trying so hard to make sure the overhyped LAL team doesn't miss playoffs.

Good god, if they accidentally make playoffs, I can't wait to see the BS calls the refs will make in their favor to get the ever so wanted, Kobe vs LeBron.

They as a team have been solid since he's been there, but he's been terrible

21.4 points on 20.5 shots isn't anything to be excited about

Dude's shooting 39% from the field. He has a 42% eFG% and a 47.1% TS%.

They've been winning in spite of his bad play. Gay has NEVER been this bad. It will cost them in the long run unless he gets better.

If I'm a Raps fan I'm excited by the fact that they've done well with him playing so bad. He can't play worse than this...few players could. But you can't deny how bad he's been. Besides 2 "clutch" shots (that wouldn't have been needed if he shot 45% from the field), he's been a detriment.

Dirks shot is affected by nothing....it's not a flashy offensive advantage, but still amazing.

Why are the Mavs rotating off Nash to guard Clark, MWP or Kobe?

Are they idiots?

Nash is the best shooter in the NBA ever. It makes more sense to leave Kobe open than Nash beyond the 3pt line.

I don't think Lakers fans really have an idea yet how great he can be defensively. He's moving better, but it's still not the same. Reason #1,659 why I think it's so funny that a lot of Lakers fans have been wishing he'd leave all season long. You guys gotta hope he's the future.

With that said, he's had a putrid game.

lol, please
