The Nuggets are NOT trading Iguodala for Gasol, I've been told. Put the rumors to rest.

that would have been nice. he's light years ahead of Artest as a defender at this point in time. he's also in his physical prime. unlike Pau who will be 33 one month into the off-season.

Anything that means less PT for Metta, the better.

Stat wise, MWP is a better defender.

Aren't the nuggets 4th in the west? Why the hell would they trade a guy who is basically the anchor of their team for a guy who is on the shelf for another 4-6 weeks? Makes no sense. Not sure how it was a rumor in the first place.

We do need another defender really bad. Would of been a good trade.

GREATNESS ONE

On the real though, Pau is gonna look really good with the second unit and we desperately need a big to follow up for Dwight.

thats a shame, i could see a 4 team trade with minny, denver and orlando happening. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine/?tradeId=aruq69f
Gasol amd Quincy Miller to minny, iggy and harrington to lakers, Reddick and Williams to Denver, and Barea, Mozgov, Ridnour and Cunningham to Orlando

Lakers
PG Nash Blake
SG Kobe Meeks
SF Iggy MWP
PF Clark Harrington Jamison
C Howard Hill

Pau is basically untradable at this time until the Howard situation is resolved. He has to be kept in case Howard flip-flops again this summer.

Pau for Iggy could've happened when Iggy was a sixer...

Nuggets? So many reasons that's absolutely ridiculous.

Breaking news guys: Lakers say "No Deng, No Deal"

Hearing rumors the Lakers are adamant about getting Luol Deng back in any deal for Kobe Bryant.

Lakers package would include Deng, Noah, Tyrus Thomas, and Ben Gordon...

...Lakers FO has confirmed the deal is dead
