lebron's season this year is magical. it is one of the greatest ever so far. who would you say is the last player to have a better season than this, and which season was it?

This year he is scoring more, getting more assists, more rebounds, has a higher FG% and a much higher 3pt%.

You know what.. I'm not even going to start because I don't think there has been a season more impressive than this one from any player other than MJ. No one has had a better season than James is having. The totality of it is he's not even looking to score but does it effortlessly while being top 4 PPG.

Shooting percentage like a Center, 3 point percentage like a 3pt specialist, passing like a point guard, rebounding like a power-forward, defending like a mo-fo.

Best season I have ever seen. (I was too young to see some of Jordans ridiculous seasons). Probably in the top 2-3 of all time.

Shaq's 2000 season was sick. I just had to look up the stats because I couldn't remember why it was so special. Dude was a man amoung boys.

Jordan's 88 season is the best in my opinion. Wilt had some amazing seasons as well, and can't forget the Big O.

This season by James definitely needs to be up there as one of the greatest individuals seasons in basketball history. Right there with a Jordan or Chamberlain I feel.

Chamberlain needs to be automatically disqualified... Who was the competition back then? No one could stop him except Russell. He played 8 teams like 10 times a season against 6"7 centers..

Dwyane Wade's 08-09 beast mode season. He is totally a beast offensively and defensively. The main thing about D-Wade's 08-09 run is he came back from injury.

Stop posting with senseless comments. Anyone with a brain knows Wilt wouldn't average 50 points and 25 rebounds a game in modern era. It's silly to even say such a thing. There's a reason why Wilt, Oscar, and Jerry aren't regarded as highly as Magic, Bird, and Jordan.

I disagree, most people that I have seen have wilt as a top 10 player all time. Many have him above bird, and some even above magic.

Just wanted to make sure that no one thinks I am saying he can avg 50 and 25. I'm just saying he is regarded as highly as magic and bird.

What? That's exactly what I'm trying to say. Wilt wouldn't average 50/25 today because there is more competition. Clearly defeats the purpose of your nonsensical statements. If Wilt averaged 50/25 in his era and you stating he won't, what does that tell you? MJ couldn't even average 50/25 in anything, what makes you think Wilt could? Lmao, pull your cord and go to sleep.

Wilt would still be the best Center in the league right now if he played in this league today and a top center in the 90's... Dude was an athletic freak, Regardless of what era you played in, 50 ppg & 25 rpg is impressive as fvck

But This season LeBron is having is the best since Shaq's 2000 or Duncan in 2003

Could even be the best since last year lol

I agree, but every era had competition of the highest order except Wilt's era. Wilt, Bill, West, Robertson, and a few more. Jordan's era had Barkley, Hakeem, Pippen, Malone, Stockton, Magic, Bird, Kareem. I'm just saying it's not fair to compare ABA with NBA eras. West would not have survived in Jordan's era and would've been a 20 PPG player at most. Go to the park. There is one great player playing with 9 average players. That was how it was with Wilt every game.

Statistically? Probably one of Jordan's seasons early in his career. Then you would have to go back to Wilt.

I used to discredit Wilt a lot but if these little track records, never get tired, and bench pressing stories are true about him then I have no reason to discredit dude lol

LMFAO again, all this tells us is that you dont understand stats. So definitely dont pull the cord, brush up on some APBR. Or never talk about stats again. Heres a hint, Rodman had better rebounding numbers than Wilt despite him having higher totals.

My favorite post in the thread. I don't know if we have ever seen a player produce this well in every facet of the game. You forgot he can post-up now too for ****s sake. It's post-baseball Jordan all over again. He's just a scary scary man.

Just the effort and will power to lead a team throughout the entire season at a very very high level.

Well, I am sure if Wade had a cast of players like this, he would have insane numbers like Lbj. Just go back and look at Wade teams mates in 08-09... You will see what Wade had to do, was just super human.
