This is a serious question.. Miami Heat could use him and Detroit will most likely give him up since they are clearly going with Monroe. Of course, I was being sarcastic with that post. It's very likely that it can happen.

You're an idiot, Monroe and Drummond will both be starting, Monroe at the 4, Drummond at the 5.

We need to implement an age and IQ requirement to start threads on this site.

I was kidding, hopefully you can read. I'm just asking if it's a legitimate trade that would benefit Miami.

Says the GM who drafted him.

“We certainly believe, going forward, those guys can make a pretty good tandem up front, because they complement each other and that’s the main thing you want to see with any tandem – that they complement each other."

Now stop talking before you make anymore stupid remarks.

Okay, thanks for that info. Now let me know how Monroe and Drummond are going to work. Two huge bodies with no shot outside the paint... Makes sense.

I'm pretty sure that Monroe has somewhat of a mid-range game...

He's a below the rim player who grabs rebounds and dunks. He can't do what Tim Duncan, Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, etc., can.

Monroe has great footwork and moves well for a big man. He has worked on his mid-range and seems to be improving his offensive game.
So please do explain how you seem to know more than anyone, including a GM and coach for the team.

Usually you make a thread like this only if there's a speculation/article/tweet or something on the matter. What are you basing your thread off? Pure trolling or some valid source?

If the GM and coach for the team knows more than anyone, why have they been a losing team for nearly 5 years?

Once again, you said Monroe and Drummond can play together but Monroe can't hit the mid range shot at all. His FG% on those areas have all declined compared to last year. Unless you want Drummond to move to the 4, it doesn't make sense.

I spend like an hour whenever I get the chance and post like 50 times in that duration. It's not about the posts, it's about the time consumed on this site. What facts? The ones that show Greg Monroe has declined from the mid range?

This is only his 3rd season. He will improve his jumpshot.

And according to the Pistons beat writers, Monroe and Drummond would be starting right now if Drummond didn't fracture his tailbone.

Anyways, drummond on the heat would be nice. Ill take Monroe too while we are at it. This years first round pick too would be nice. Real talk, i think Drummond is untouchable for Detroit.

Drummond isn't going anywhere. Monroe would be the one traded. But next year they will be starting at the 4 and 5. They have played well in their minutes together this season. Only reason Drummond hasn't been starting is the lack of a backup center in Detroit. Slava kravtsov is a joke of a player as of now and Detroits only backup at center so Monroe has to start at center and switches over to pf when Drummond comes in.

Not sure where the idea comes from that a rookie with high upside would get traded. And why Miami would be seen as a trade partner whereas almost every other team in the league would be able to offer more for him.

Closing thread.
