Leandro Barbosa will be out for the remainder of the season with a left knee injury.

Barbosa was injured in the Boston Celtics' loss to the Bobcats on Monday.

With the Celtics already losing Rajon Rondo for the season, the team is expected to pursue a point guard.

Too large of a lead, too weak of a conference not to.

Draft class sucks this year and they are too far in to not make the playoffs. Make a move Celtics, get Gortat and Sessions.

Damn sucks for Celtics. The conference is so bad that they can't even think abt missing playoffs.
I wonder if their just going to re-tool, add a PG and attempt to compete in playoffs or if they decide to blow it up. But man look at the 2 prized franchises of the NBA, Lakers & Celtics, who would've thought going into the season that their record would be this halfway thru the season!

This is what happens to old teams.

Lakers, Celtics, Spurs = injuries meanwhile Clippers, Thunder, Heat, not so much.

Rondo, Sully, and Barbosa are the 23 players out for the year..sullinger is a rookie, rondo is in his mid-late 20s, and barbosa isn't that old. pierce and kg haven't missed a game yet, neither has the jet. so, the age is not the reason the celtics are getting hurt

Damn, another Celtic out for the year. They just can't a break. Yet, they are still playing well. In my eyes, that just shows the grit and determination of the vets on that team. (Garnett, Pierce, Terry, etc)

Who have the Clippers lost for the year?
That's all that really matters.
Boston has lost its PG, its backup PG and it's best rebounder.
None of whom are coming back this season.

They lost CP3 for like eleven games and lost any chance at the first or second seed because of it. Age has had nothing to do with any of these acl tears, dude. Especially when you are talking about the Celtics, who have been losing young players.

Paul missed 11 games.
At this moment, the Clips are 1.5 games back of OKC for the #2 and 4.5 back of SA for the #1.
"lost any chance.." you're flat-out wrong there.
"the Clippers have been banged up all year"...compared to who, Boston?
What on Earth are you talking about? These guys are done; Chris Paul missed 3 weeks.
Rondo likely won't even be ready for Training Camp next year.

Wolves lost every SG on the roster, Love, Rubio for 25 games, and a litter of other injuries.
