No Parker (*Knee swelling) Duncan (sore knee) Manu (Hamstring) Jackson (Personal)

Not sure if Noah is playing or not, or what other injuries Chicago has.

But you can at least bank on both teams playing hard/smart basketball. I'm looking to see if Kawhi Leonard/Splitter can show something probably being the focal points.

I really like Splitter, wasn't he considered once the best player in Europe?

He was, then when he came in he battled injuries, wasn't able to participate in a full training camp and Pop was never able to work him into the rotation and build that trust. However this season, and since starting along side Duncan, he has been great.

Yeah he's been pretty good this year, he needs to keep getting minutes and I know that he's going to take advantage of it.

Vogel is my COY right now. Hard not to like this Pacer team. Reminds me of the 90s Knicks. They are playing with an offensive handicap everynight and make games ugly, and win them that way. I wish my '12-13 Knicks played with that type of purpose.

Leonard is going to be a really special player. On both ends. His defense is great, and his offensive game getting better and better, he's showing a nice pull up jump shot, can hit the 3. If he improves his ball handling and mid range shot he will be special. I see why Pop has such high praises for him. It's really great watching him grow.

I like his game a lot. Do you see him becoming more than an elite 2 way role player? In other words do you see him becoming a go-to scorer or 2nd option type to go with his elite defense or more of a Luol Deng type?

It's tough to tell... Right now he looks like the Luol Deng kind of guy, great hands on defense, crazy wingspan, and knows when to gamble. I know in the "post Duncan" era Pop wants to feature him a lot. They want him to handle the ball, run pick and rolls, and Kawhi wants to continue to get better and expand his game, which is great.

I could see him as a viable 2nd option. Pop had such high praises for him in the summer that maybe they want him to be "the guy". He's only 21 so he's got some time to see if he has that in him or not.

Ain't nothing wrong with that. Luol Deng with some more handles? I'd take that any day of the week. Going to be very interesting to see what the post Duncan and Ginobili Spurs come out like. Its tough to see them having a down year. Would love to see them manage to rebuild on the fly and not skip much of a beat along the way. I think Pop is one of those coaches that could get a D-League team to the playoffs on coaching alone. There might be two or 3 of them on this planet.

Through 3 1/2 quarters, this has been one of the better performances I've seen all year, even without 4 key players. Everyone is getting involved, forcing turnovers (25 points off turnovers to 2 for the Bulls) and taking care of the ball against a very good Bulls defensive team

Nothing wrong with that at all.. And I try not to think about the post Duncan era... I don't see them having a down year, but definitely not at this level anymore. They will have some money this summer, so I'm not sure what their plans will be. I've just sort of learned to trust they'll do what they can to keep the team competitive. When Robinson missed a ton of time, it resulted in Duncan... That sort of thing won't happen again, so there needs to be a plan B.

Stats won't show it but Tyshawn hit some tough shots down the stretch and only had 2 turnovers in 34 minutes. He stepped up big when CJ wasn't hitting anything.

Just awful. I mean they aren't the reason why we lost but they certainly didn't help. Multiple times where the Hornets were giving a blocking foul when our players were perfectly set. But then on the other end they weren't set and they gave them the charge. They called offensive goal tending when the ball wasn't even on the rim. There was a lose ball and a Hornets player just fell when we already got the ball, he just fell and they called a foul on the Pistons.(I know I'm missing more but those are the ones I remembered) Just many stupid things. Pretty bad lol.

Ah one of those nights... That kind of night can suck the life out of a team and a crowd. It can be tough for any team to overcome that, let alone a younger team.

Great game last night. That's what team ball is all about. Major props to Leonard who had a all around great game. This guy needs to be playing 40 minutes every night. Like KDSpur, the sky is the limit for this kid.

Also even though Nando De Colo didn't have a great shooting night, I thought he ran the offense very well. His passing reminds me of a Jason Williams (lite).

oh they did trust me. They did.

Got it!

This is gonna be the team they have for years, because they won't have good picks and they won't have any money. They traded that all away this year.

They might make the playoffs next year, but what's their true upside? It can't be that high...

At best they've become the Hawks of the East. At worst, well, more of the same with no picks or money to get out of it soon.

Voters tend to have long term memory problems.

If KD ends the year hot and the Thunder have the #1 overall record, he easily could win.

A week ago KD was almost a consensus. LeBron is doing some unreal **** right now...but we're talking about like 1/14th of the season determining a race, and that 1/14th of the season, regardless of how good it is, isn't deciding the award in FEBRUARY.

Kobe Bryant is proving just how overrated he is. Seriously he is not contributing on offense or on defense. Anyone who thinks he's doing something offensively cause he has 8 assists is clearly not watching the game. He's coughing up the ball carelessly. Playing no defense as usual.

Once again he's in one of those moods where he tries to prove a point to everyone who calls him a shot jacker by taking only 3 shots all game. While not realizing he's hurting his team even more.

The Suns ended up catching up to them which is no surprise. Suns will probably win the game thanks to Kobe.

The Nash and Howard show.

Damn right, as long as we win. I could care less how Kobe does. You forgot to mention Jamison.

lakers win but still 3.5 games behind for a playoff spot after the rockets beat the Ws and jazz upset the thunder.

Lakers survived a near Kobe-sabotage. With Howard stepping up and the Nash big time.

Onto the Clippers lol, this should be interesting.
