Crazy shot, but I don't think it's the shot of the century...

I've seen people make that shot at the local playground. Calm down nugget announcers.

Because he was traded for Melo.

I really like Gallo and that was an insane shot. The announcer just got caught up in the spur of the moment and said whatever came his mind.

The announcers got a bit carried away but Gallo has had several highlight type plays this season. Fans are sleeping on this kid. I would not be shocked to see him near all star level next season at around 20ppg

Sucks to be Dunleavy .... Get popped in the nose by an Italian elbow AND he gets called for the foul.

Exactly. They acted like a playoff game had just been won.

That is what they say about him every year...
Cool shot but it has been done before. Jordan's layups and Wilkins's dunks were better.

Yea but he missed the free throw...

It takes some time for some guys to mature. He is only 24. He has lifted his game from 15ppg to 17ppg this year. No reason he cant lift it to 19ppg next season. There are very few SF's in the Western conference that are better than Gallo.

Eh, its a nice shot. Nothing overly spectacular. Its Denver though so I guess there isnt much entertainment outside of Javale McGee shaqtin a fool to get excited about.

Denver announcers are hilarious. My brother was working in Denver for 6 months or so a couple of years ago and was watching a lot of Nuggets games. He would tell me the stuff they would say about their players. A couple of memorable ones were,

About Marcus Camby "Another great pass by the best passing big man in the NBA!"

About Kenyon Martin "He has the strongest hands in the NBA!"

I wish I remembered more, but man do they like to overreact to what they see.

Nowhere near shot the century. Jason Kidds over the head from the free throw line easily bettet

02-07-2013, 04:21 AM
Shot of the century will always be Isaish Rider's save the ball out of bounds toss that went in no look off the backboard.

That's never happening again, mainly because he didn't even know he was shooting it lol.

If you slow it down enough... it looks like the shot should not have counted. His foot came down before the ball was released from his hand. Slow it down at :28/:29 second mark.
