Is there any word yet on how long Pau will be out for?

The Nash trade back fired now. Ya figured no first round pick this year even though some say this draft is very weak. Even looking into next season. They have to sign Howard while already at $68,103,755 before any options picked up $83,140,637. Duhon is non-guaranteed $3,750,000 and Artest is early termination $7,727,280 according to hoopsworld. Not many options even if the Lakers filled the bench with vet minimum deals. Yeah they could hope Gasol is back at 100% before the season so they can trade him. But not much else for options. I believe the Lakers still have the amnesty clause yet? That's a option.

He's still a solid player, and his statistics when playing center are great offensively.

Too late to deal him this year anyways, even before he got injured. If we were going to trade him, it should've been 2 months ago.

Good news is his value probably goes up this offseason. Still a top center in the NBA offensively, and he's a 19 mill expiring.

No. Pau was actually getting healthy and was showing he is still a very solid bigman. Injuries happen.

He's out for the year? Shouldn't it be a link? Because if not this needs to be closed because I've heard nothing saying he's out for the year

02-06-2013, 01:50 PM
Yup they messed up. They should have taken a peak at the crystal ball to see if he was going to be injured in the near future.

It worked when it told them Bynum was going to be out the following year. Why not use it for Pau?......

Wait until there's official word of how long he's out for before these types of threads get created. Otherwise it's misleading.
