How do you guys think they would do?

They'd be pretty good at basketball.

They'd do well.

Its a little too ridiculous to actually happen but it would be interesting. It would be Thompson's 4th year and Waiter's 3rd along with any draft picks they get from now in their second year. That would be a hell of a talented team for sure regardless if Varejao performs at the same level or not. Adding Lebron to that team would make them easilly a title contender for sure.

How about Kyrie-LeBron-Durant

LeBron is just an evil genius! The team couldn't get young talent (or talent really at all) to help him when he was in Cleveland originally. After he was drafted, his impact on the team was too great, and unlike a Seattle/OKC situation where they could amass multiple top 3 picks, Cleveland couldn't do anything in subsequent drafts. They drafted 10th the year after and busted with Luke Jackson. They didn't have picks in 2005. They never were able to bring in young guys via the draft to help him.

So, how do you finally get that?! You leave knowing that they'll become one of the absolute worst teams in the league for a while, and then come back after they've cashed in on those draft picks! It's genius really!

I would think they get CP3-Kyrie-Kobe-Lebron-Dwight, but I could be wrong.

What if LeBron went to OKC?

LeBron, Durant and Westbrook are all winners so they surely wouldn't mind taking a pay cut to make it happen.

Imagine

Westbrook
Sefolosha
Durant
James
Ibaka

That's a championship team every year, especially with Kmart off the bench.

I actually see Kyrie signing with the HEAT when he is a unrestricted free agent :)

How about Kyrie-LeBron-Durant

And this might actually happen ( even though you are joking )... If KD doesn't win a ring with OKC before his contract is up, I have a feeling that he will sign with the HEAT.

Because of the friendship he is building with Lbj and Pat Riley will target him, and Pat always gets his man lol

They would be a very good team, assuming Waiters and Thompson develop well.

Kyrie
Waiters
Lebron
Thompson
Varejao

If Varejao is healthy I'd say they'd basically replace where the Heat are now.

haha, exactly what I thought. Anyways, would Gilbert swallow his pride on this one? Adding LeBron to that team, even as he enters his 30's, makes them the best team there is. Irving may be a top 5 player at that point.

Are you also signing Kobe after his contract is up? How about Melo?

No, I know.

I'm just saying that it's amazing what two years of great success does. Makes fans turn into Lakers fans with their ridiculous free agent expectations.

First he'd have to get Melo and Durant to agree to go there too.

LeBron isnt stupid to leave Miami. He won a ring here and basically has the world at his helm. I wouldnt be surprised if more players came on after bosh or wade get traded. On the other side History always repeats itself so if leBron does leave well then its just a re run.

I'd love to see it happen. Waiters and Thompson would be really solid role players on that squad.

Kyrie-Waiters-Lebron-Thompson-Varejao...Plus whoever they draft this year in the top 10? Yum.

Miami gets the good free agents something LeBron never got in Cleveland, nobody wants to play there. And after Gilbert and the entire city of Cleveland trashed LeBron he never will go back there.
