View Full Version : Has Michael Jordan Played his last GAME in the Nba?

He is turning 50 in a few days.

He joked bout coming back to play at 50 on his third retiremente.

He koked again bout coming back and play A GAME at 50 in his " interesting" HOF induction speech.

He has been practicing with the team every now and then in the last few months.

I know of Cba rules: Owners cant be players.

I also know that the amount of money of such a thing could convince the rest of the owners/Players and Darth Stern staff to look the other way.

At worse case , he could "sell" his share to his brother, then "buy" it back after the fun is over.

Notice that im talking bout ONE GAME, not a full comeback.

Do you think he will do it?

Only reason why a legend will come back to the NBA is their broke. And MJ will never be broke with his brand.

DO you think Mj was broke in 2001?

Ego has a part on this, and None in the league history has a bigger ego,not even Kobe ( is not too far away tough).

No way would MJ come back at age 50...the risk of damaging his legacy is too high...can you imagine a old MJ getting schooled by a younger player due to his age & lack of speed...those highlights would live on forever and would damage his rep and legacy too much.

He would have to lose like 25 pounds and hit the treadmill to get back into shape.

Did his wizards damage anything? i dont think so, on the contrary he would earn bragging rights about been the player to have played ONE GAME at an older age ever.

It could arguably be the highest rated game in NBA history. The money to be made on him playing one more game would be ridiculous.

I could see it happening, but it is very unlikely.

Jackie Moon was the last owner/player and that didn't work out to well.

Still better than any other player on the Bobcats (minus MKG).

LMAO

He can't damage his GOAT legacy by simply coming back for one game. Even another 10 season wouldn't damage it. He's 50 now...not 35 or some old-but-not-too-old to perform age.

It burns Crooner's heart that MJ is the undisputed GOAT. He tries to take MJ down every chance he gets. I guess he doesn't get what a joke is.

But FWIW, I would love to see a mini-comeback by him. I mean who wouldn't? Every basketball fan around the world will be glued on TV throughout the entire time. If it happens, his first comeback game will break all the viewing records in league history.

No. Way too much would have to go into him actually selling his share and buying it back for one game and there is no reason to do it

This. Even in the spurs thread he is doing this. Discrediting MJ as GOAT. Maybe MJ played with a spaniard and held him back.

If MJ wants to comeback for 1 game why not do it in the allstar game. Not the legends game but allstar sunday. Now that would be awesome!
