Who should be picked to be in the dunk contest this year besides the usual LeBron and Kobe picks. Even though it's a homer pick, Jeff Green should be in it. He has shown some displays of athleticism this year with some monster jams. Who do you guys see making it?

Lol what would Jeff Green do in the dunk contest? He doesn't do flashy dunks he just posterizes people. Like my boy Harrison Barnes. I'd like to see Terrance Ross though. That kid can fly and he's already shown us he can do that full arm extensions windmill in-game so imagine what the kid could probably do in the dunk contest. There are always rookies nobody knows about who are really good dunkers.

Also I know it's irrelevant but who just saw VC get judo kicked in the balls!? That was bad. :puke:

Yeah, I don't care how good those below-average players are at dunking...I'm sick of them.

LeBron or Westbrook would be enough for me to watch.

Also, Griffin is a phenomenal dunker, but I'm sick of him too.

I'm just saying the majority of people would put prime VC (and maybe even current VC ) over Gerald Green. I'm not overrating VC or underrating Gerald Green either. And I don't know how I made it seem like I was trying to be intelligent, I was just saying you look really silly calling Gerald Green a better dunk than VC. Gerald Green is alright. The alley oop was cute. Vince Carter could do everything. He could dunk over centers, he could do in-between the legs alley oops off glass, he could jump over people's heads.

Vince Carter is known as the greatest dunker in NBA history because he revolutionized dunking. Perhaps the only star to bring dunking to this extent, no doubt about that. You're calling me stupid because you don't agree with me? So you=correct/intelligent because you don't agree. Nice.

First off, your English is terrible. Second, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm not calling anyone crazy for their opinions based off basketball. It's not that serious. Also, define young. I've actually watched VC's dunks live, not off YouTube. I've seen his dunk over Alonzo, seen it all. Jason Richardson and Gerald Green are on par. People like you just love to talk about the old days. The Beatles, Elvis Presley, DBZ, Muhammad Ali. We all dwell on the past. Until you actually realize talent, you're basically saying they will always be the greatest.

Don't really care after these two but yes, Barnes and Ross should both definitely be in the Dunk Contest no question! He referred to a time frame 3-13 years ago, and you therefore assumed that he was the sort of person who loved to talk about the old days. Then you brought up the Beatles who were assembled 50 years ago. Pretty big difference. 10 years ago isn't the old days, not even 20 years ago.

I would expand on that but we all already know what you're life is like once you take a deep sigh, log off PSD, and ask your mom if you can have 10 bucks for gas

Also, I recognize talent, and I recognize Gerald Green isnt anywhere near VC in his prime.

People are also quick to label guys the next "one", but just because someone's time has passed by, doesnt mean there is a next guy to be "the one".

And it sure as **** isnt Gerald Green that takes up the mantle from Carter.

The digs that have nothing to do with the discussion give you a sense of victory so you think you're "winning", but you're losing man. Have you ever watche someone embarrass themselves and you have to look away because they just don't see the reality of the situation unfolding?

Learn to debate by attacking the topic, not finding something else unrelated to go after man, it will help you down the road.
