No. Unless he clearly mentions that he won't re-up.

We haven't even given this thing a chance... I think our core guys have played like 16 games together.

That being said, if he doesn't commit by the deadline, sure go ahead.

He's gotta be the future of these team. They'll make a big mistake if they don't try to make that happen.
