How about Jose Calderon and Bargs for Wilson Chandler and Andre Miller?

Come on Denver fans, what do you think?

This he`s a super soft stretch 4 that cant rebound worth a lick for his size, I wouldnt trade a bag of Doritos for him. In all seriousness though, he could be a good bench player and shooter to help stretch the floor. But his contract and playing style make him essentially impossible for you to trade and get anything of value back.

R u saying that he will not be traded by the deadline? Raptor fans care about their team and he must hold some value to some team out there.

I agree with your assesment of him and yes his contract makes him hard to move but I would deal with expirings or trade exception in return. He does not help us on the court but that doesn't mean he cant help another team.

It's gonna take a contending team VERY desperate for a stretch 4 (a really specific niche need) to find a trade partner I'd imagine. His game + his contract make him almost untradeable right now.

Not sure there is a team out there that fits that criteria.

I'd take him as a bench player/stretch 4 on the Bulls but there's really nothing we have to trade that would make it a fair deal.

He's a Big that doesn't rebound, play D, post up, and pretty much just shoots jumpers. Im sure Mike Antoni would love to have him!

it would likely have to include Boozer in part of a larger deal probably.

Bargs has zero value. Packaging him with Lowery or Calderon is the only way you will get something decent in return for him.

Probably Lowry because Jose's contract is too rich to pair with Bargs, thats 20 mil going out. Unless we get a 3 team deal in the works.

R u saying that he will not be traded by the deadline? Raptor fans care about their team and he must hold some value to some team out there.

that's exactly what I'm saying. His injury may mean he's not healthy and therefore able to be traded by the deadline. And again, this question's been posted numerous times before, the latest being last month when BC opened the door to the potential of dealing him. There's always been less than enthusiastic responses from PSD posters and GMs league-wide over his value. For very valid reasons, he's not an attractive commodity. In fact, in most trade scenarios he's a negative weight on a trade, meaning the raps need to bundle other players with him to unload the contract.

Expirings, trade exceptions, all basically seem to carry more weight than he does right now. Think about that, teams are more willing to hang onto something that ensures they DON'T have a player than take him on. That should give you an idea of his trade value right now.

BC should have dealt him last season when he was on a rare good streak before his injury.....might have been our only window to do so, but BC is a proud guy when it comes to his draft picks, and stuck with this lemon way too long.

it is pretty obvious that if he isn't packaged and it is a stand alone deal that it will have to be him and a pick for an equally bad player with one less guaranteed year

something like Bargs and a second for Richard Jefferson or Biedrins...

not Saying GS would do that just using those kind of players / contract as an example.

it has nothing to do with his on court play...

he has a horrible contract and is injury prone... not really a good combination when trying to trade him in the current NBA enviroment.

Injury prone I'll give you, but horrible contract? A big man capable of scoring 20 points a game will make $10 mil this year. That isn't overpaid.

it is under the new cba with the impending repeater tax...

he wouldn't be paid $8 million a year if signed now...

again, his stats are irrelevant because he put them up on Toronto... he isn't a third option on a contender even if healthy... not to mention that he is a bad defender.

Trade him to someone with an amnesty clause. Simply take on a bigger contract so that team can pay a guy less for amnestying them.

Lowry will stay, teams want Calderon because his contract is up this year. Maybe a trade to Atlanta? I mean, Lou williams is done for the year and J smoove isnt happy.

If the Amare situation in NY doesn't work out, I would do Amare for Bargs & Fields.

People are trashing Bargs way too much, for a long while alot of people said he was better than Gallo.

Yes it is.

Hypothetical scenario.

Lakers trade Pau Gasol for Barganani. They amnesty Barg and they pay 9 million less for someone not playing.

This trade won't happen, but a scenario certainly can happen like that.

no it can't, you can only amnesty a player that was already on your roster and signed when the new CBA was made.

there are very few teams or players that are even "amestiable" anymore.
