Looks a little on the thin side but he will bring a necessary low post, rebounding presence that the Heat desperately need.

That MOFO for real? LMAO DA Fuq! This is gonna be fun :D

He looks more skinny? IMO

I hope this works, I just don't want to see Bosh as center for the entire game or playing as PF with UD as C. :(

Aside from Heat fans, maybe fans of contending teams "Give a ****". Perhaps they'd like to know how or if Miami is going to address their weakness. Seeing as how this signing could have impact on how the defending champs mold their rotations come playoff time, I'd think NYK, Chi, Ind, Bos, OKC, SA, LAC, Mem, etc. fans might be interested in this signing.

Seeing as how this signing won't ever effect your team in way shape or form this season though, I can see how you don't "Give a ****".

Birdman was the best child molesting big man out there.

First of all it was a scandal involving kiddie porn not molestation, and secondly he was acquitted of all wrong doing, seeing as how he was being extorted by a woman who was simply pissed Anderson wasn't interested in her any longer. Don't throw lies out there, please.

Here's all you need to know about the Heat's new center/forward: Chris Andersen refers to himself in the third person as 'The Birdman'.

Example:

Chris Andersen, on what he'll do with Heat: "The usual that a Birdman does and what Birdman brings."

Doesn't matter. This team needs help in the boards, so Chris Anderson is a plus for Miami. I really do think Bosh is growing tired of playing C so much.

He averaged 11 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in 36 minutes for Denver last season and led the whole team in defensive rating. Thats a really decent signing by Miami.

The legal case involving former Nuggets center Chris Andersen has yet to be resolved, a Douglas County Sheriff's sergeant said, but Andersen's attorney went public Thursday, reiterating a claim made last May that his client was duped and then extorted by a woman claiming to be of legal age. The Douglas County investigation involves possible Internet crimes involving a minor.

"What I'd like to communicate is, this had nothing to do with children," attorney Mark Bryant told The Denver Post on Thursday. "This had to do with an individual who represented herself as legal age and then some, and by the way, is and was at legal age."

Andersen, meanwhile, has been working out in Denver and in College Station, Texas, as he tries to make a comeback to the NBA. Bryant confirmed that Andersen, 34, could sign a contract with the defending league champion Miami Heat. Andersen worked out Tuesday for Heat president Pat Riley, The Miami Herald reported.

Last May and Thursday, documents reviewed by The Denver Post confirmed that the woman making a claim against Andersen repeatedly represented herself to be of legal age and that her family later demanded payment from Andersen. Douglas County Sheriff's Sgt. Ron Hanavan said authorities investigating the former Nugget, released from the team this past summer, have received results of forensic laboratory tests of electronic devices and other evidence and are processing the information.

"The investigation is still ongoing," Hanavan said. "Detectives are continuing the investigation."

Hanavan couldn't say how long the investigation would last. Andersen hasn't been arrested and no charges have been filed. In February, a cybercrime unit began investigating Andersen based on still unspecified allegations.

Last May, after electronic equipment was seized from Andersen's home in Larkspur, his lawyers said a young woman from California claiming to be of legal age had asked Andersen for money after he spurned her advances.

Through Bryant, Andersen gave The Denver Post a statement Thursday: "I appreciate everybody that's supported me, and I don't want to say anything bad about anybody, it's everybody's worst nightmare, but I just want to thank everyone that supported me and knew this was a lie from the beginning. They know how I love people, they know how I love kids and they know where my heart has been in this community."

Bryant said he and his client have been cooperative with authorities, answering any questions asked of them. But there are still "clouds out there," Bryant said, because of what he deems an unfair public perception of his client's involvement with children.

"It was never about little children's pictures or pornographic sites or enticement of children," Bryant said. "Never. ... We want to get this stigma off of it."

I'm sure he will be able to stay if he doesn't take too many rebounds away from Lebron. All he will be asked to do is play good defense while not getting the way of Lebron's rebounding totals.

So you believe that Lebron isn't focused on his stats at all? To me, Lebron seems like the type of guy who knows exactly how many rebounds an assists he has at any moment of the game.
