I don't blame him, he wouldn't have Westbrook holding him back, and he can be the Franchise player in Toronto.

He grew up a fan cause of VC. It's not a slight towards OKC. Just shows that he was a fan of a certain team growing up.

Can you not read, or are you saying he grew up knowing and came into the league knowing he was going toend up playing with Westbrook and wanted no part of it?

Was there something to read? All I'm saying is that Durant is obviously venting frustration with not being the franchise centerpiece and have to split shot distribution with Westy. He could average 50 points per game if he were alone on the Raptors...

remember...hes in his 6th season in the league...its obvious something is up.....my guess...durant is disappointed the fact the harden was traded...and if he doesn't win a ring...hes gonna leave once his contract is up

They're in contention every single year, I think they'll break through eventually.

But who knows.

I believe KD mentioned somewhere before that he was a fan of raptors when he was growing up. I remember seeing it on a thread on PSD a while back.

Yes there's something to read - the link in the OP. If you can't or don't want to read that, at least watch the interview before trying to jam your anti-Westbrook talking point into the conversation.
Patrick directly asks him "Who did you want to play for growing up" and he says he was a Raptor fan. It hasn't nothing to do with frustration or venting or being unhappy - he honestly answered a question about which team he liked as a kid.
Nothing to do with Westbrook - which you'd know if you actually read or watched instead of just leaping at any chance to bash a guy you don't like.

I hope the Rock gets his *** whooped. No because i dislike the Rock because he is awesome but because CM Punk is better. CM Punk over Rock would cement him in the WWE. The Rock winning the title and then vacating it just seems so blah

Maybe if they played at the Rogers Centre... ACC is nowhere near big enough to fit even half of your 60,000

And as for what KD said... nothing to see here... he answered a question about his childhood and the only reason he liked the team was because VC was exciting to watch. It has nothing to do with wanting to play for Toronto now nor does it have anything to do with wanting to leave OKC

No, YOU can't have a Durant thread without trolling about Wesbrook. Everyone else is doing just fine without it, talking about the actual topic. You and I are literally the only posters who've mentioned Westbrook in this thread.

A lot of players had favorite teams growing up and probably wanted to be drafted by them, doesn't mean they all go scrambling to them.. I'm sure Durant loved the Raptors growing up, but now he loves OKC the fans and a chance to win it all... If he didn't like Okc he wouldn't of signed an extension lol.

Point is an American born player actually wanted to play in Canada. Raptors just need to be a consistent playoff team and the players will want to come here.

more like an American born young teen/child wanted to play for the Raptors...when he was young and a Raptor/Carter fan.

Lol it's not that good American players don't want to play in Canada...it's that they don't want to play for sh*tty f*cking franchises like Toronto. How many Superstars do you see lining up to play for cleveland, minnesota, milwaki, sacremento, new orleans, charlotte, etc? Even Canadians don't want to play for the Raptors look at Nash. I'd bet my left nut that wiggins will never play for Toronto in his career either.

Eh.

I didn't think he liked the Raptors enough to say he REALLY wanted the come here. But it was cool none the less.
