Yeah, mine started from 1984, but if it started in 1997, Iverson is on the tail end for sure. I know I am hard on him on this site, and in general, but he was a great player. Maybe the best volume shooter I have seen, especially at his size.

if you are old enough to have watched Ewing, you have seen 10 better players. Maravich is also one of the more overrated players in history.

6. Kobe
7. D. Robinson
8. Barkley
9. Malone
10. KG

I'm sure Lebron will rise in the future, and eventually Durant will be on the list. Shout out to my main man Patrick Ewing. I really tried getting him a spot on this list, but he just missed.

That I've seen live or watched prime:

1: Jordan - I've never been so certain that a player would find a way to win in any sport ever. Also the only player to make me want to root for another franchise. Untouched.

2. Magic - I only saw the tail end of his greatness, but that was still his prime. Such a master. If he had lockdown D he'd be a candidate for GOAT.

3. Shaq - Good luck guarding him. It did not exist other than forcing him to the line. His talent other than dunking/post game goes overlooked. Shaq was an ultra skilled player.

4. Bird - Same story as Magic, but I only got to watch him in his 30's. Still incredible, and probably the closest to Jordan of a player that I knew would create a way for his team to win.

5. LBJ - Incredible, but has indeed succumed to the moment and failed on the biggest of stages in inglorious fashion to a point that the other four ahead of him have not.

6 - 10. Duncan, Hakeem, Barkley, Kobe, Cp3.

So hard to leave KG, Malone, Stockton, Nash, Kidd, etc off, but those are the best I've seen.

If your list doesn't include Kobe and your list is only made up of players post-2000, you're a blind hater.
