Obvi lol

The Minnesota Timberwolves turned down a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Rudy Gay, according to a report.

Speculation suggests the Grizzlies offered a deal that would have sent Gay to the Timberwolves in return for Kevin Love and/or Nikola Pekovic.

The Timberwolves expressed interest in signing Gay to a free agent deal in 2010.

Kevin Love and/or Nikola Pekovic are valuable assets. Smart move

Imagine if the Grizzles actually get Kevin Love??? The rebounding would be sick, and out of this world. But the Timberwolves are smarter than that, and they won't give up Love that easily.

No way I would move Love unless it netted a superstar. Now if they can get Rudy only trading say Derrick Williams, Peckovic and a pick or something I'd do that all day. Rubio Rudy Love would be a nasty core

this. Yeah, obvious no on this trade proposal. I wouldn't trade either Pek or Love straight up for Gay, and with him money, not sure what we could send them other than Williams, and maybe salary relief in Roy, who at some point will quit beating around the bush and just retire already.

Pek is probably the better player straight up over Gay, and would leave the Wolves so shorthanded up front the rest of the year anyways. Not happening.

I wonder if there is a joke going around with all the NBA GMs.

"Everyone send Khan stupid trades, and whoever gets him to accept 1st wins"

Kidding aside, wouldn't mind Rudy Gay on the Wolves. With his current salary and seeing how much we would have to give up just to get him. No thank you.

JiffyMix88
01-11-2013, 04:40 PM
Someone seriously needs to tell Robert Pera to control his wife. Tell her to watch a few NBA games first or she's going to continue to look like an idiot in these trade offers. Just cause you want Love and Pec to gangbang you doesn't mean you can offer peanuts in return.

THE MTL

I highly doubt the trade included Kevin Love. Knowing the Wolves it was probi a decent trade proposal that they turned down.

Btw, I was on vacation for the past week...since when did the Grizzlies want to trade Rudy Gay?

Since Hollinger was hired most likely.

What is with your anti-Wolves agenda you are always pushing? They actually have won most their trades, Kahn just can't draft worth a crap...

Obviously they should not. But they also should not have wasted the #2 pick on Thabeet. That being said , we now have a good team that is putting butts in the stands and Memphis loves 'em. Pera and company need to leave it the **** alone for a year

Thankful the Wolves FO didn't pull that trigger as that "mediocre" guy had 23 points and the last bucket for an OT win against the division rival Spurs.
