Per Marc Spears Yahoo Twitter. Howard a torn labrum in his shoulder and Gasol has a concussion.

Wow.. The worst gets even worse. 15-21 here they come. They have no depth what so ever at those positions and are playing three top teams in the West next.

So this is what it feels like to be a Minnesota fan. Season of injuries.

Lost Nash for first part of season.
Now all of our big men are gone at the same time.

Ship just sank.

nah.

He strained it during the Clipper game, and aggravated it last night during the Nuggets game.

besides, the Lakers are in no shape to start benching/suspending their star players so I think that leaves this conspiracy out.

You werent going to miss anything with Dwight on the floor. Kobe jacking up shots will actually give the Lakers a better chance at winning. No more Dwight getting the ball stripped and bricking huge FTs. Although, the Lakers will become the worst defensive team in the league now.

This season is a write off.

Nash was injured for 20 some games, Dwight's back, Pau's tendonitis in his knees, 3 coaches, two vastly different offensive systems, Jordan Hill in and out with injuries.

What a ****show

Old man Bryant still getting it done though. Dude is a freak, he doesn't get hurt ever... what a jinx!

That was a close one for lakers fans. Now they can blame injuries for them sucking this year.

Oh well, maybe they can get a top pick in the lottery since Stern always rigs the draft for big markets. Wait, they don't have their 1st round draft pick either? Hahahahahahahaha

Now we will see which lakers fans are the real fans and which ones are now clippers fans.

If he has surgery, he's done for 6 months at least. But many players have tears of the labrum and never even know. Pitchers pitch with them. It depends on the tear and on him. My guess is he's out a week or two then day to day. If it's serious and needs surgery, goodbye for a year.

And a torn labrum is a season ending injury

No it isn't. If it's serious, of course it is. But if it's a small tear that doesn't restrict his ROM too much, he will get cortisone, PT and be back by the end of the month at the latest.

Pau got smacked pretty good in the face yesterday, blood all over the place. Dwight messed up his shoulder against the clips, and Hill often has nagging injuries.

I do see a trade coming, but Dwight won't be dealt

LMAO!!!

1. Lakers = Best city to live in, warm weather, beautiful, great for your off court oppurtunities.

2. Lakers can offer him more yrs and more $$$ then any team.

3. Take those two and add that the Lakers are the face of the NBA, and are never out of contention very long. 2014 Lakers have no Gasol or Kobe on books and Lebron is a FA along with many other great players.

So with all that said does anyone leave the best place in the world to play, leave the most money on the table, and leave a team that will be a contender soon again cause they always are for teams like the Hawks and Mavs or hell anyone!?

Lol he's not gonna stay. Kobe's not retiring anytime soon, despite whatever he says. Dwight can't be in Kobe's shadow for another 4-5 years, he'll dry up. He wants to be the face of a franchise and that's not happening as long as Kobe is still alive.
