Dropped out of the Cleveland Cavaliers' rotation, forward Omri Casspi, the NBA's first Israeli-born player, has requested a trade, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

 Scrub requesting a trade.

This is hilarious. Obviously they should just waive him. It's not like the NFL where you can get a 6th round pick for him

Casspi for Morris & Ebanks

 Scrub requesting a trade.

What does it matter if the player is good or not?

He is getting less playing time than he feels he deserves ( and probably less then he deserves).

This should happen more often considering you dont get to choose where to go until your 7th or 8th season in the league normaly.

I find nothing wrong in it.

I would find something wrong if a dude that SIGNED for a team on his own will as a NON restricted f.a asks for a trade.

I like Casspi. He is decent, wouldnt call him a scrub, but that is my opinion.

If you can't get minutes on the Cavs or the Kings, you're a scrub.

Interesting to see a warriors fan talk such ****, because your team has been so successful over the last 20 years  Glad to see a hot start from the warriors hasn't gotten to your head.

I'm hoping we can get a decent washing machine in return.

Or your rookie season in Sacramento, some racists vandalize his mural in downtown Sacramento with a Nazi symbol. He never really enjoyed himself in Sacramento after some idiots couldn't get over the fact he was Jewish.

His tenure with Sac definitely wasn't as clear as people thought.

Does Casspi really think they haven't tried? If he is that far back on the depth chart, they have most likely tried to trade him and did not find a package they liked.

I'm joking with you man, I could see them getting a 2nd rounder for him.. I think he'd be a great fit on the Spurs, is a decent three point shooter who plays hard. Seems like a Pop type of player.

He's on the last year of his deal & seemingly wants PT to earn himself another contract. Not sure which teams will have space for him to earn minutes in their rotation.

I would offer him to the Spurs for a second round pick on the condition that they make the pick for them ;-) since they are so great at getting talent out of the second round

He sux, he's not getting time anywhere else in the nba. I would tell him to go back to where he came from.

The problem with Casspi is he thinks he is a lot better than he actually is. Confidence is a good thing to have, but know who you are as a player is equally important.

Not sure if this was mentioned but could be a reason why he was benched: www.cavstheblog.com

Iím not here to give answers, mostly because I donít have them. Weíve all heard the rumors that he reportedly told Scott he couldnít wait to hit free agency and weíve all speculated reasons, like that he doesnít work hard in practice, but to think thatís enough to force one of our more talented role players deep into the bench is an oversight.
