Charlie Villanueva just got ejected for blocking Isiah Thomas. He did nothing wrong just went up for the block and then Thomas went at his face. Then they looked on the replay and said CV got a flagrant 2 and was ejected.

The funny part about it nothing happen to Thomas wasn't even giving a tech or anything. He went up to CV and gave him a forearm. One of the worst ejections I've ever seen :laugh2:

Here is the link. What a terrible call. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QUteVWc-dq0

0:14 shows him going for the block

It was a bad ejection but he definitely fouled him. Don't make it seem like it was a clean block. Looks like his elbow may have hit Thomas in the face.

I didn't say it wasn't a foul. Yeah his elbow might have hit him in the face because he was going for the block and Thomas went into him.

You said that he "went up and blocked him and didn't do anything wrong". It's not a blocked shot if a foul is called

He didn't make a play at the ball.

well, its official. stern has switched his focus from preventing kobe from winning a championship to preventing charlie villanueva from winning a championshop

Stupid ejection, but I have a feeling the refs looked at his arms coming down and might have saw it as him trying to smack him in the head or something.

Which explains a lot. Why else would he not have one by now?

Pistons trainer just got a technical. Are you ****ing kidding me?

Definitely wouldn't say he was making a play for the ball and trying to block that shot. He just kind of stuck his arms in his face. Not really sure wtf he was doing really.

Pretty weak ejection, but definitely see that being a flagrant. Let's not pretend like he was going up for a clean block there, Detroit fans.

It is the exact same "EXACT" same flagrant 2 Howard got the other day. Both had arms leaned more forward then up. Only difference is Howard did it to a big while charlie did it to a small.

BOTH were BS!!! This will get a 35 grand fine as well

If Thomas didn't react to it. Nothing would have been called which is the funny part.

He also fouled him after the whistle. I think that was a big reason, too.

they didn't even call a foul thats the thing. when thomas reacted they went to the monitor to see if thomas would get ejected but they ejected cv for a flag 2

Best ejection if that was the thread:D Amir throwing his mouth guard at a ref for not being allowed to hold the ball before freethrow.

What's even funnier is watch Demarcus Cousins. He is just standing outside the arch uninterested but as soon as he saw contact he wants to run over and be the tough guy on the court.

What a sad story he is.
He has all the talent but will never develop into a legit nba star because he doesn't have the will power...smh.

he didn't make a play on the ball, this was an appropriate ejection (based on today's NBA standards) and certainly isn't the worst ejection of the year.

What the ****. He went in and broke it up and he's getting criticized for it? What a joke.

All he did was break it up there was no "tough guy" act going on here.

I have no problem with Demarcus, I thought he played a fine game and was being mature when trying to break up the fight.

Isiah JR is a little ***** though, he was asking for it the entire game. Regardless, CV definitely hacked him. I don't know the rules enough to comment any further.

Definitely loling at members bawlking here. The Pistons have to be one of the hottest teams in the league right now. We have a long way to go, but I wouldn't want to face us. CV has been playing great, and despite the fact that we won, it's still a big blow to a team playing well.

Definitely a foul but definitely not a flagrant 2. I didn't really see him make an effort to get the ball but still, that's not even a flagrant 1.

This is nuts, especially since this Keith Bogans foul on Barbosa was about 16x more brutal and was called a flagrant 1, then downgraded to just a personal foul.

Bogans personal foul that should have been a flagrant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuNWIzjaL3I)

Ridiculous inconsistencies with the flagrants this year.

There was no doubt it was a foul to me, but a Flagrant 2 and ejection? Give me a break! I would imagine that having the reputation Charlie has for his past tie ups and problems with other players didn't help matters much. Pistons have a long way to go, but damn Charlie has been on fire! I never thought I'd actually say it, but having Charlie taken out of the game really hurt us lol. I can understand wanting to protect players and he deserved a Flagrant, but a 2... really? Oh well, it's the new NBA what can you do?

he went at the guy with elbow and forearms with no intention of making a play on the ball.
