Looks like Kobe is the most popular player in the league again. And I could honestly not see Dwight making it if he's not a starter.

Not gonna be outraged with anything here. Would like to see Duncan over Blake, but whatever.

Hopefully Lin stays out of the top 2 so he won't be there. That would be a shame.

Don't tell me that Raymond Felton will make the team.

Also the West is looking like the better of the 2 as of now.

I believe it's still starters voted by fans, the rest by coaches.

So all I'm caring about are the top 2 Guards and top 3 Forwards.

I may be wrong though.

Yeah that's what it is. I'm interested to see who else makes it for guards in the Eastern Conference after Rondo and Wade.

Yea I agree about Lin. I can't believe (well I can actually) how many more votes he's got over Harden, WB. And Nash having more votes than Parker is nuts. But it is what it is

And TD. Well the argument is there for him over Dwight as well (IMO Going off this year). But at the end of the day, this is the all star game, and those guys are more entertaining that Timmy is. We all know that. He got shafted last year, so it'll be nice for him to get in this year. (Although he says he likes the time off with his family)

Youre going to base that off all star voting?

So many nba fans don't vote for the all star game.

How does the new system work?

Is it the top 3 vote getters in the front court and top 2 vote getters in the backcourt who start?

How many front court and backcourt reserves are chosen by the coaches? 4 front court and 3 backcourt?

I'm assuming there are 12 spots on each roster.

ATL, 3rd best record in East, no respect from regular fans. Smith should be an all-star, he should have been the year before, and the one before that. People like Monta never gets in because of the "he is on a bad team" crap people give as the reason. Well here is a winning team with no one getting love?

Seems like you mad at Kobe yet again brah? Does he haunt you in your sleep that much that you always compelled to say something negative about this basketball icon?

There needs to be a games played minimum before they are eligible to be on the voting list.

Steve Nash has played 5 games all year so how on Earth do 166,000 fans know he is playing at an all star level this season??

The second round of All-Star votes are in and Lin (496,133) is currently 5th in total votes for the West. Do you think the people will ultimately vote him in as starter?

like no one saw that coming.....lol

its the NBA All Star Game. its a fun Game for the fans of the NBA (including China).

not every deserving player gets voted in anyway. If LIn wants to save some face he should give up the starting position to CP3. and come off the bench. I have a feeling he'll get booed..

He's still more than 50,000 votes short of Paul. No. He will not be voted in as a starter.

It's in Houston so highly unlikely he gets booed.

Get booed? He play for the Rockets and the All-Star game is gonna be in Houston. He won't get booed but I agree that he should let Chris Paul start

Surprised KG overtook Bosh Center lock.

Looking like its going to stay Rondo/Wade/LeBron/Melo/Garnett
