Just reported on the Knicks postgame show. Big Loss for the Knicks imo. Kidd cant be expected to play 35 mins a night and prigoni is more like a 10 mins per game type of guy.

Perhaps explains his terrible shooting recently.

Wont be an issue in the short term, but cant have Kidd racking up tons of minutes now.

Oh.

Well I believe his hands were injured anyway, could be good to get some rest.

twitter is hilarious though. Felton hurt they blaming his 17 shots per game and under 40% chucking from his right hand on that.

I played w/ a broken pinky before. Homie I just say let JR Smith take his role, Kidd was doing all the work anyway.

You're ridiculous for being happy that our starting PG is out for 6 weeks. The guys been playing with bone bruises in both hands for the last month giving it his all and now needs surgery on his finger. Any logical person would notice that Felton was playing great for the Knicks until the injuries started piling up. Was he taking too many shots? Hell yes, and that's where Woodson should have been a coach and told him to stop shooting every other possession.

Do you think that Kidd can just jump in there and take all of those minutes at his age? As great as Kidd's been, he's playing too many minutes as it is. Prigioni can take some of the minutes but he and Kidd don't drive into the lane like Felton did. That's what will be sorely missed on the Knicks with Felton out. I'm glad Felton's getting the chance to finally heal his injuries but him being out doesn't make things any easier for the Knicks. Hopefully Amare and Shumpert get back soon.

You're a fool. Glad that our starting PG is out for 4-6 weeks cause of injury. What kind of human are you?

Jason Kidd is great and is our best PG, but that doesnt mean I want him playing 35mpg. And you shouldnt either if you know what is best for the endurance/longevity of our team.

Hopefully Pablo steps up and finds some confidence in his shot. Hopefully, Shumpert be ready before Felton comes back.

Jason Kidd is ridiculous. He's shooting 44% from 3 and 90% from the line (both career highs), and turning it over only once per game (career low). WTF did that come from? Ridiculous. An absolutely terrific offseason signing.

if you can't understand how much we improve w/ Pablo and Kidd and JR Smith (I can't believe I'm saying him, but it's true) running the pick n' roll and taking jumpshots over Felton, then I'm sorry. I gives no ****s about Felton.

Not terrible. Gives Pablo more time, and Felton kinda isn't always a helpful player. He can be a liability....a lot.

He can be frustrating at times, but he's still a good player. If you think Pablo for Felton is an upgrade you're dreaming. Thank God STAT is just about ready to come back.

I like what Pablo will do for us offensively but he is pretty awful on D. Dude just wanders and leaves his man constantly looking for steals. He's also not able to switch on 2s like we do every time with Felton.

We'll be fine, Pablo seems to have a gery high bb iq and Kidd is a machine even at his age, I really dont see the increase in minutes affecting Kidd at all.....besides im sure our GM is already checking whats out there

Knicks won games last year with no point guard. If we have Melo and Kidd can play at least 25mpg we will always be in with a shot.

they are.

I will say this, with Pablo running point it may be better for Amare. Pablo is much more of a facilitator and looks for much less shots than Felton would. I mean if the Knicks went with a starting five of Pablo-Kidd-Melo-Amare-Chandler, that would be ideal for Melo and Amare because they will both be able to get a lot of shots a game. Pablo never shoots, Kidd doesn't shoot much and Chandler is really just an alley-oop/putback specialist, so Melo and Amare can both get 15-20 shots a game playing with those three guys.
