Kevin McHale seems like a great guy, and clearly this is such a devastating time for him. It's nice to see him find some from friends throughout the league to show him some love. Garnett's definitely a guy you'd want as one of those people. Not to be too preachy, but America in general is definitely in a place where we need to find ways to come together a little more.

I genuinely get the impression that KG is a really genuinely nice person off the court. Powerful moment. Good stuff.

Yeah. I'm watching this over and over. Such a simple gesture seems so refreshing sometimes...especially lately.

KG got all of my pre-Celtic love back with that gesture.

I respect KG for that, yesterday and recently has been very tough for McHale

Absolutely love KG. He may be a prick on the court, but that because he's THAT passionate. I'll always be a huge fan of him.

Poor McHale. He looks absolutely emotionally drained. :(

He's never been a dick. Just because you're a certain way on the court doesn't can you're the same way off the court.

Don't you remember when KG's best friend in Minnesota Malik Sealy died on the night of KG's birthday? They had a birthday bash for KG, and then Sealy on the way home died in a car crash.

These things are real man. Basketball doesn't come close to the true and real aspects of life that matter.

I would actually love to be a teammate of his, he'll always have your back and he'll always yell at you for your own good. Remember when he made Fat Baby cry a few yrs back? :laugh2:

Little bit of reality.
I don't think KG is a nice guy like you guys though. . . Every once and a while he obviously will care about people.

Don't let him fool you .He might have had an emotional moment with Michale, but that's because they are close. I heard he's said some ****ed up things and is a giant prick.do you not remember what he said to Duncan?
