Quiet night… The Spurs got beat by the Trailblazers. Lillard scored a game high 29 points. The Knicks beat the Lakers. And Atlanta beat the Bobcats.

But what needed to be put was...

Kobe in 44 minutes got those stats.

Melo in 22 minutes got those stats. On 10-15 shooting

Clearly Melo was the dominant player last night..he had 22 in the 1st quarter and 30 with about 6mins to go in the 3rd before he went down..pretty sure he would have had atleast another 10 in 18 more minutes of play

Kobe didn't look that into the game last night..came out of the tunnel with about 5 mins before the game started...did some awkward stretches and took 2 shots...then during timeouts and inbetween quarters he was walking around with that ice pack on...somethings off

Either way, Melo was the star of the game even with only playing 23minutes!

Yes, if I knew that I would have voted Melo instead of Lillard.

Kobe showed that his chucking 30 shots does more to hurt than help the Lakers.

kobe 44 mins- 10-24, 5 turnovers, 31 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.

Melo 22 mins- 10-15, 0 turnovers, 30 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal

Lilliard 40 mins- 11-22, 2 turnovers, 29 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists,

i went with Melo... it could have easily been kobe if he had settled down on the turnovers and been a little more effecient with his shot selection.

How are there not more votes for Lillard? Kobe's stat line was the best, but he wasn't super efficient from the floor, he turned the ball over five times and his team lost. Melo's numbers aside from efficient scoring are pretty dull. He's supposed to score 20-30 every night, but where is the other production?

Lillard beat Tony Parker and the Spurs head-to-head and he had just an awesome overall game. My vote easily goes to him, and if there weren't so many Lakers and Knicks homers on this site, he'd be easily winning this.

Lillard is going to lose simply because of the abundance of LA and NY fans. Pity.

Kobe shot under .500 trying to bring the Lakers back from the arse whooping that the Knicks layed on us. His line looked better so i went with him, but Melo clearly was the most dominate player last night, and thats the first time ive ever said that.

They said Kobe spoke to Magic, West and Mj before the game. I wander what they said to him. Whatever it was his game didnt look the same to start the game. Ther was no energy.

Why was he the most dominant player when clearly Lillard has the better stat line?

Becuase in that 20 minutes of play he completley ripped the heart out of the lakers, and his play in that short span inspired his team to play on another level. The game was over in the first quarter. What Melo through was a first round knock out vs Lillard who through jabs and body shots to win on the scorecard. I am gaining a high level of respect for the youngman (lillard) though A High Level!

My vote is for Lillard. Nice line ending with a "W."

Or, he gos 0-10 the rest of the way... The way I see it, the stat lines are fairly similar but Lillard deserves it because he played a key role in finishing the game and getting the W.
