Ever since the blockbuster trade for Carmelo Anthony, The Knicks have yet to play against the Nuggets IN Colorado. Do you think he will get booed like Lebron when he retuned to Cleveland ? Will he get cheered ? Mixture ?? What do you guys think ?

It's been so long. He did demand a trade, though. So I would say mild boos. The team's obviously done better without him, nearly reaching the 2nd round last year.

^^^ but the nuggets are doing poorly this year. I live in Colorado and no one I know really likes melo out here, but no one really is upset about him leaving like cleveland was about Lebron. The truth is Melo never brought denver too much success so it's not like it was the end of the world to lose him. Making the playoffs both years since his departure has also happened. I honestly think this was a trade that benefited both teams. But ya, he will probably be booed, but not horribly.

Not really, they aren't doing poor.

Most road games this year out of any teams, and the toughest schedule via winning percentage. Expect some bigass runs by them.

10-11 is poor for a team that usually wins around the .600 clip. they aren't even in the playoffs atm. yes they have had a lot of road games but they still have underperformed. look at ty lawson, gallinari's and iggy's stats. those are their 3 big players and all are underperforming, not shooting well and costing them games. the problem is not entirely the schedule.

Yes, why cheer for a guy who wanted to leave your city for no major reason. That Knick team he joined wasn't no better than that Nugget team (my opinion)

Both teams benefited from this deal, The Nuggets got legit young talent and are a good team this year, the Knicks got their superstar the team clearly needed and have a good team this year. cleveland got nothing in return but salary cap relief and the leagues worst win streaks the following year.

I think it'll be like 90/10 in favor of getting booed. Since it's been so long and since he never returned yet, maybe not everyone will boo

HUH??? ALMOST making it to the second round???? Melo did demand a trade and there will probably be some mild boos. Denver has a pretty good team and I don't think they a crying over losing Melo, but almost made it to the second round?!?! They did that just about every year WITH Melo and did go to the Western Conf. finals once w/Melo

Where is all this young talent everybody talks about that they got in the trade? The biggest reason the Nuggets played well after the trade was Lawson taking over the starting point guard spot for Chauncey Billups. And they did have a really deep team that year.

The Nuggets though drafted Faried with THEIR own pick the following year. The team is completely different now then it was at the time of the trade with Felton and JR Smith going from the Nuggets to the Knicks roster.

Of course they will boo him but it wont be anything like LeBron, Carter, or soon to be Dwight.

They certainly wont boo him each time he touches the ball.

I would say a mix. There will be some who boo, some who cheer, but at the end of the day he handled the situation pretty well. He let them know he wouldn't be re-signing (as far as I know he didn't demand a trade, just said that he wouldn't sign an extension unless he was traded to a team he liked). So Denver knew that he was leaving and was given the lattitude to make a trade and get some players back in return. As a fan, you can't ask for much more from a guy who has given you several very good years and no longers wants to stay after giving it an honest shot and putting up a consistent effort.
